i've been on im a lot lately myself. work has been super busy, so i can't log on too much, but i'm usually here screwing around at night

Ski Trip Update-

Just spoke with my deal maker at Stratton a few minutes ago. He informed me that the weekend we were looking to go is Martin Luther King weekend. I did not realize this. Due to that little fact, there aren't any lodge/lift ticket combinations due to the holiday. He also said it'd be quite busy, too.

So, the question I pose: Do you all want to rent a place near the mountain (cabin, house, etc) for the weekend (if we could manage to find one), or do you want to see what we can get for the following week and go on the 23, 24, 25?

He'll call me again on Saturday (I caught him at home today) to let me know the rates and what he can do for us.

Tito- I'm headed to Wachusett or whatever its called on Sunday. If you want to come hit the slopes, come over on Saturday night so we can leave early Sunday.

I was working with my kid and showing him Battery today. He was like "thats an old song huh?"

and then I played him the newer Metallica. He says "thats not as good as what you just played me" His favorite album is Ride the Lightning. We'll work on Battery some more then tackle "Fade to Black" tomorrow

Some of the riffs have you covering a lot of ground on the fretboard. The part that starts at :54 not only sounds amazing but has such an odd fingering that makes it pretty damn hard. I have the tab for it if you feel like tackling it.

If you guys head up there the weekend the trip was planned for i can ride with you guys. But the 23-25 i will be in northern vt.
