I LEARNED'D something today!

the other is(now that I know) thanksgiving. I didn't receive holiday pay on thanksgiving. So now I have to dig up my pay stub and point that out and get paid my holiday pay for that.

Often times there is a clause that states you have to work the day before and/or after thanksgiving to receive holiday pay for thanksgiving... You should check that out.

But the simple knowledge that I was told a lie by the employee who covers my shift when I'm not there is heating me up right now. Fueled by the fact NO ONE corrected me about it, even when I was stating TO EVERYONE that that's only thing keeping me sane about working that night, fueled even higher that I requested that day off back in august before said employee put her request in, and the manager STILL gave her the day off.

You need to have a talk with a few people, including said boss and the employee who lied to have you work her shift. By talk I mean PIIHB.

It snowed yesterday afternoon when iw as leaving work and i thought it stopped..but apparently last night it snowed and it snowed a lot..my car had about an inch or slightly more on it and it made me late for work.

I went downstairs to find my car completely encapsulated in ice because it rained instead of snowed. Talk about lame. I immediately informed my boss that I was going to be late (its a half hour drive to work in good conditions). To my suprise, I got in my passenger side with ease, but still spent 10-15 minutes scraping ice off of my damned windows while standing in the howling wind. Eventually, I got to work. Which has been non stop all day long.

Arrhhh I was suppose to being going up to film on the 23-25. I have been letting my boss now this for the last 2 months and now i might not be able to go. Not much new. I bought myself a new iPod a couple of days ago. School is hell as usual. Computers are going slow as FFFFFFUUUUUUU- so my replies are going to be limited. Other than that I really need to get something to pull dents out, some bondo, and some primer so I can primer my car. It'll lower the price of a paint job. I hope I can have my car ready by December so I can register it for HIN. I just need a job...
