I still have my job, but I've been given a do or die date of December 5th. The goal I was given to keep my job is pretty much an impossible task due to the limitations of my work load. I'm supposed to have a quality ratio of 95%, but even one little spelling error will cause me to lose at the very least 10% off my monthly quality ratio. The reason is due to the fact that I'm only given so much work to do per month, so it's hard to diminish the effect of one error. On average I get 10 pieces of work to do in each category of work I have. One error negates an entire piece of work, so 9/10 or 90%. At midmonth, I had been given 3 pieces of work in one of my problem areas with one error. So I had a 67% quality ratio. I told my boss that it was mathematically improbable for me to get that number at 95 and above as I would have to have been given 17 more pieces of work and get them all perfect. They've given me 1 since then. So in short, I'm boned.krimsonviper wrote:
