I don't know, mang. Honestly, I don't even like my car anymore, part of the reason is what you mentioned. Terrific, my car is the Civic of Nissan. Every a$$ who wants to go "fast" and put dumb crap on it has one.

Ring ring, hello, XTerra? Is that you? Please come soon.

I still like mine, I just would rather have two cars. I could make it look really nice, but that wont change the fact that it's fwd.

However, if I read another thread about someone tinting or wanting to tint their headlights I'm seriously going to lose it.

I kinda like the look of the Altima coupe. If I was to own one, I wouldn't own it to go fast. If I was gonna buy something to go fast, I'd be buying something along the lines of a 370z or a GTR...of course if you're thinking in the price range of the Altima coupe, then I'd just go with an STi.

Glad I could help provide that image. The more I think about it, though, the more I think the act of coitus would be really weird looking as an on-looker no matter who was involved.

Right. Which is why I bought my car to begin with. I thought it looked pretty. I knew it wasn't fast. These kids need to stop pretending that it is. At the end of the day, whether or not it has one, two, or fourteen doors, it's an Altima. You know, what Grandma Milly takes to Bingo on Wednesday afternoons at 2pm, after gardening and The Price is Right.

Although the SE-R is a different story. It makes decent power and it's sexy, especially the Nismo edition in the color Code Red...or is that the Code Red edition...not sure...still sexy. :yummy

Meeechellee
you do realize in this world there are people who want both speed, and reliability, low maintenance costs, space for friends, and something to have fun with.
anytime you have a combo like that, you're bound to get some people who also want to stand out, or blend in.
so person a does something to their car that's different ( may not look good )
then person b decides to follow ( because he's a tool )
that's all i see in alti gen,
BAKED MY HEADLIGHTS, I GOT MY FRONT FASCIA, I DIDN'T KNOW THE ALTI CAN GO UP TO 157MPH, MY ALTIMA IS SO SEXY, ALTIMA FOR THE CAR OF THE YEAR :D

I don't want to make a thread for this so this is a Learned'd Exclusive. If you see any smileys on the interwebs that you want on our list, send me the links and I'll see about getting them added. Post them, use PM, e-mail, AIM, I don't care. Surprise me.

Turbo, I agree with you. When I bought my car, I was like "Hmn, well I need something good on gas, but not a Geo Metro, and oh hey, this new Altima looks pretty sassy, and it's in my price range! Okay, I want it."

But I cannot justify spending ungodly amounts on my car, because I mean... it's FWD, and it only can handle so many mods. There's not much you can do with the AC, like you can say, a 240. It is what it is. Kids need to realize that.

Carlisle is fine. I'll go ahead and send it though. No point in flying it all across the country.

Except use it as a vessel for a sweet car stereo. To be honest, my car looks ridiculous with the nose sitting high in the air due to the extra weight in the trunk. But I don't care anymore. I enjoy driving it enough, but the stereo was my main concern.
