Why don't people posting on CL know to post mileage/transmission/etc (the important info about vehicles) when selling? I would want this depending on that info
I'm strangely ok with the yellow. I really want to pick up an 05+ off road trim xterra. That would make a perfect daily that with some minor mods could be used wheeling. Sometime in the next few years, I will be making that move.Ace2cool wrote:Looks like a tonka toy!

Reading reviews made it seem like it was one of the most capable suvs both on and off road. There are numerous other suvs that are better on the road (many based on car platforms), but they suck off road. Then, there are better suvs for wheeling (hummer h3, toyota fj, etc), but they are far less friendly on road. I want a daily that will drive well in the snow (they don't plow too well around me), so I would like to go awd. And, if I'm going to do that, I'd like to be able to have the option to off road. Pretty much narrowed it down to that selection. It's an added perk to use it to remain a part of this family as well.Ace2cool wrote:AB, why so dead set on an Xterra?

Meh, I like yellow sports cars. But I generally dislike yellow trucks. For some reason, the yellow on the x bothers me less than most trucks. Given a choice, I'd take a different color. But, I want to buy used (a new one of that trim is like 30k), so if the price is right the color is the least of my worries. The blue or darker metallics are much better looking, but beggars can't be choosers.Ace2cool wrote:Ah, and the Tonka Truck yellow doesn't bug you?
I personally don't like yellow vehicles.
Wow, Adam. You think just like me. Ryan and I are heavily considering buying an XTerra for basically those same reasons. Maybe trading in my A/C, keeping Ryan's 240 for the "fun" car.AppleBonker wrote:
