i am not greek, and they are very old fashioned. the reason why we were married was because she was pregnate and i am the father. its not that her family dosen't like me it is because i am not greek. and a "investor" in her fathers business is well ummm..."connected" so he sent over his "workers" to protect his investments family. eventhough i did nothing wrong

well tomorrow morning gia is getting tubes installed in her lungs to help drain the fluid that has been building up. the doctors say that with the tubes in they can use a camera to look inside the lungs to monitor them closer.

the doctor has arrived on sunday. he is here to make a determination if they can help or not. he is to also determine if what she has is contageous. is she isn't there is a possibility that they will accept the adoption to australia. but full residency will take about 6 months to go thru. and i don't think she can live with 6 months without medical care.

gia's surgery was a sucess, they put in the tubes and drained a substantial amount of fliud, the doctors said. a hour after the turbes were in place her temperature dropped fast below 100 degrees for the first time in a while. the australian doctor recommended we do the surgery, and the doctor at the hospital agreed with his phylosppy on the procedure. tomorrow they will be putting a camera into her lungs to better determine the extent of her condition.

my wife and i were allowed to stay overnight at the hospital cause we wanted to spen time with gia on christmas. and we left about 8a.m. the 26th. we had a wonderful christmas no matter what circumstances were. they upped her midication for her liver due to the fact that her blood was becoming more toxified again. her lungs are still under extreme watch and on a lung machine.

well there is a physician who is here determining if she is contageous or not. and he as ruled that out. the australian medical community told our legal representation that by the first weekend in feb we should have a final decision wether or not they will accept the adoption. as soon as the papers are accepted they take complete medical care over. and that includes the flights to australia. it is a 85% chance that it will take place. so we are keeping our fingers crossed.

all this week we have been talking with our representation in australia about what will happen. we learned about 3 days ago that she will be leaving for australia sometime before feb 28.

the money raised will go to her medical bills that were accumulated and whatever is left over will be donated to liver and lung organizations for infants.

she will recieve free mediacl care. their donor list is on a need basis, rather than a number basis. because she needs a liver so badly she will be amongst the first to recieve a liver.

they are going to take care of her lungs as well, but if she dosen't have a liver transplant in the next 12-18 months things could tke a serious turn for the worse
