I didn't get mine in the kit to but after talking to Nate, he sends it separately in an email. Check there!

If you don't find it, shoot him an email

Can you send me the instruction if you still keep it. I just emailed him already.

Nate will send them to you, but you seem to be in a hurry.... so I am sending you a copy too. Note that there are only two bolts holding the engine cover on, not three as it says in the instructions (the pic though is correct), but you do need to exert a lot of force to get it off after the bolts are removed. (Nate, did you catch that?)

Ooopss! Not sure if you have the 2.5 or 3.5.... I sent the 3.5 instructions... I need to verify things before I act...

Mine was attached to the email with my tracking number. I'd check there if SBD hasn't gotten back to you.

A ratchet with a swivel adapter makes some of the bolts easier to access, particularly the one on the alternator and the one under the intake (I have an Injen). My 16-year-old son didn't have to remove anything other than the engine cover and he had the whole kit on in about 30-40 minutes. Also, it was convenient to slightly bend a couple of the terminals to get a different angle for the wire, gaining an inch or so of effective wire length.

Can a mod please remove nate's instructions off of this thread (two posts up)? Nate has specifically asked for people not to post the instructions up, as it removes competitive advantage for people that don't own the wires to make their own and know what to do with them off the get-go.

Dude, why don't you just post up the Colonel's fried chicken recipe while you're at it

Please remove the link or edit your post. Posting that is taking potential business away from Nate.

Just shot LBC an email on his BB. Hopefully he'll get it and edit it too

Thanks for the support guys

Sorry if you've encountered a delay in receiving your instructions (I think the longest it's taken was maybe 12 hours-email bounce backs don't count). I had all of my wisdom teeth removed on Friday and just got back to work yesterday.

If anybody needs instructions for a kit they've purchased from me, please email me and I'm happy to send it to you immediately. Most of the guys will tell you that I respond to emails before they can even exit their email apps, so there shouldn't be a worry there. You might encounter a slight delay now that CA has instituded a basic ban on cell phone use in the car (no talking without a handsfree device, no texting/emailing, and basically no looking or holding the thing while you're in the driver's seat), but I usually get back to people as soon as I stop.

The 2.5L and 3.5L instructions are NOT the same. The 2.5 is much easier to install due to the alternator location and the size of the engine.

And I don't want the Colonel's 11 herbs and spices. I want Popeye's popcorn chicken recipe. They only had it out here as a promo like 5 years ago and it disappeared. It was the epitome of perfect popcorn chicken-Mostly chicken about the size of...popcorn, great crunchy batter, no unnecessary "herbs and spices" lol.

Chill out, brosef. There are grounding kit installation instructions all over the web; for Racingline, Stillen, etc. The mounting points are not going to differ. If someone wanted to make a kit to compete, they won't need Sentient's installation instructions to do it.

Sure you could make a kit for your own vehicle, and it wouldn't be very difficult to do. But it takes time, and for those of us who work, our time is more valuable doing other things than making my grounding kits from scratch. If I knew the secret recipe for Big Mac sauce, I could make my own home made Big Macs all day long. But why would I if I can buy a ready-made one for cheap? ;)

You need to put this into context. There weren't really any grounding kits 3+ years ago when the post was made. I think Stillen's came out around the same time, but it didn't have as many grounding points.
