that180 remember to say it was WET AS A MOFO cause it had been raining for 5 days straight and the cop knew it too. under those conditions you would not only have crossed into the intersection, but probably gone all the way through it if you slammed on the brakes.

Yellow means slow down, not speed up.

Where to start.... Well, you'd probably be an a$$hole too if you had to enforce the law in a city full of whining-a$$ crybaby rookie drivers (or "young people in sports cars" as you said) who are always whining about being "picked on". Don't drive like a d*** and you won't get "picked on".

Besides, you don't drive a sports car, YOU drive an economy car. If it's riced out or has an annoying exhaust OR if you drive like an a$$ then OF COURSE you're going to attract the attention of the PD. Your 98% comment is offensive, much like saying, "98% of all 240 owners are riceboys and punka$$es." Both are ridiculous statements.

Think about this: We all spew a lot of hate about "riceboys", Civic geeks, and those retards in Escorts/Cavaliers who think they're Adam Saruwatari and s***. I've seen posts where guys say, "If I saw that car in my neighborhood I'd drag the owner out and beat his a$$/slash the tires/run it off the road/etc." What makes you think police officers are any different? They're young guys, just like you and I who might also happen to be into the import scene - you think they don't get p****ed about some morons making all import enthusiasts look bad too (just like we all ****** about)? Think they don't see a riced-out car and want to cite it?

Or MAYBE they own a Civic/Prelude/Accord that recently got whupped by a 240...:D

Think about it.

You are both wrong, yellow is just a color, it has no meaning.

Agreed. I'm a part time security guard at a big pharmaceutical company and I can tell you that it's very easy to get a power trip when you're in a position of power and people have to listen to you because you're in a position to do nothing but enforce the rules. I'm only a lowly security guard, so I don't deal with the normal population, I usually deal with executive type people, but occasionally I get put into a situation where I have to hassle someone becuase they are doing wrong. I have alot of respect for police officers and the work that they do. It's a few bad cops that give the rest a bad image.
