I have a really stupid question...."Puts on flame suit" Ok here goes.

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

Now I have been around cars "working on them" for a good 10 years now but I have a question that I should already know the answer to.

What is the difference between a long block and a short block?

I researched here on NICO and didn't really find anything helpful. The reason I ask is because I am serioulsy contemplating going KA-T and wanted to know a few things before I step over to the dark side.

To the point I was poking around KA-T's website and they sell built engines. They sell long blocks, short blocks, and well bare blocks (I can assume what that means).

Help a retard out!

I think we should answer all threads this way. That way in the future when poeple use the search they dont find threads that have no answer. Just people saying "search noob" or "delete/lock this thread I found the answer"
