well all i know is that some one is throwing stuff when it doesnt need to be.im sorry but i do have to side with jon on this one.when i first got into 240's i had bought one with the intention of swapping in an rb25.jon was the first person i talked to about it.even tho i chose to go with the rb20 jon has been supportive of my endevours with the car and what i do with it.i mean hell, he even sent me some plugs for my s15 lights that other guys with rb25 clips wanted 20$ for.mo, i would have worked on you car but as my new job is more important i had to stick with it.i suggest getting a stock ka lower harness, wiring in that so that it will crank and run on its own then securing a stock rb20 harness and working from there.this is the reason that i tell ppl not to get stuff with mad **** on it, yes it may be cool that you got a huge turbo or a aftermarket ecu, but without knowing what does what it makes any swap a nightmare.the problem most likely lies in the wiring and that should be attacked first, not jons reputation.if you send me a ka lower and rb lower as well as the rb20 efi and the ka efi i can rewire it, and i'll do it for free.there are 2 ways to do any swap, 1/2 assed and 100% done.ive seen both, one car runs like a champ and the other sucks, guess which one runs well.point in case i just finished a redtop into a s14b, that was a wiring nightmare, but i took my time and the car runs fantastic, hower i have a friend who paid a shop to do it and they 1/2 arsed it and it looks horrible, runs horrible, and has twist connectors splicing crap together in the fuse box.again im willing to help you out but you really need to head the advice that was given and try and return the engine to stock and then go from there.
