Im sure future trims will offer it, but not this first run. Maybe once the brand gains some more support it will grow into some higher end packages. I think they are going bare bones at this point to get a feel of where they are heading.
I gotcha - I was referring to the forum members that don't want to stagger. I totally understand why Scion/Subaru aren't doing that right out of the box.

This seemed the appropriate thread to also confess that I traded in my Altima coupe. I still visit here once in a while, because I've kept my fondness for the car. I also found the discussion about the FR-S/BR-Z interesting. Before I bought my Coupe almost exactly a year ago, I thought about waiting for the Scion. I couldn't wait and ended up getting the A/C. I've read a lot about these two models, but it's good to hear from actual owners on here about it. I don't really think it is direct competition because it doesn't have a useful back seat or trunk. That said, I do think it's a great option if you want to go that direction. It appears to be a great handler, although maybe a little slow (for now; don't be surprised if, just like the Veloster, it gets a turbo in a year or so). And looks wise, it's great.

Speaking of going in a different direction, I ended up trading my A/C for a 2012 Cadillac CTS Coupe. Not near as good gas mileage, surprisingly smaller back seat, and not as ergonomic as the A/C, but I'm loving it. Also, it comes with staggered wheels.

Cts coupe is pretty bad a**. Congrats on the panty dropper! Lol
The fr-s has crappy back seats, but the trunk seems bigger than the Altima coupe actually. Coming from the 2.5, the fr-s will be faster. So for me is a win lol.

My CTS coupe really is a great car. I wanted to add that the Altima I traded was also Crimson black. My CTS is a metallic red, which is nice, but one thing I loved about my A/C was the color because I saw very few of those on the road. Thanks for the compliment and congrats on your choice too.

Nice, must be exciting! Both an FRS and a BRZ got dyno'd at a local Cobb Tuning meet. The FRS pushed 150 and BRZ 154 on their best runs. Mustang dyno though

Very excited, the handling drew me to this. Will be faster than my 2.5 so it's all good :). Engine work if any will be after my warranty is over.

I used to think BRZ front end was > FRS', but after seeing both in person at the meet, I would def prefer an FRS.

Techincally the 2.5 might be faster because FWD has less drivetrain loss than RWD. Well I'm not sure what our cars push at the wheels.. But FRS is insanely light so the power difference doesn't really matter ;)

After taking the FR-S for a test drive, cornering is fantastic. The Subaru BRZ is the same car with added luxury options.
Your wallet took a huge loss by replacing a new car with a new car ...

I pay less for this car then the coupe. My sister drives the coupe now.
My intention is to pay it off as fast as possible by making bigger payments to the principle.

Yeah from my understanding, paying off a 6 year loan in 3 or 4 years won't ruin your credit. Possibly if I paid it in one or two payments then yes lol

Paying a loan off early will not harm your credit score.

Well my mother works for Regions bank and spends much time determining credit scores.

The ideal "customer" for a credit company would be one who ends up paying the most interest but is never late on any payments.

Even paying a little extra one time on a line of credit could drop you from say 800 to 790 or something like that.

I'm only 21 and following my mom's advice I have a credit score of 775 and it's been a year since I bought the Altima so it's likely gone up since then.

It's not necessarily harmful to pay off loans early but it is not ideal and you will not have those nice really high 800-900 scores.

Sorry, but you are incorrect ^

Your mother doesn't determine credit scores unless she works for Transunion, Experion or Equifax.. even then she would most likely not be part of the team that runs the computer models and determine credit score. She may be an underwriter for a bank and may have some say over who they grant loans to.. but she doesn't determine borrower's credit scores.

Credit scores will improve with longer payment history, but paying off a loan early or making more than the required minimum payment will not lower your credit score. Most people do recommend making at least 12 payments on an installment loan just to establish greater credit history. But paying it off early will not actually lower your score.

One more thing.. you can't get a 900 credit score.. 850 is the max FICO score.

I love it!.. mostly.. Needs more torque.. the motor is a bit on the weak side.. but the fantastic handling makes up for it. It's so much fun to drive.

Thanks guys. I always thought paying things off early / making advance payment made your score look better. The more you know
