I got pulled over by CHP in my R33

Had an r33 impounded here in FL and got it out 2 days later. No problems getting it out. Was 3am and car was tailgating and swerving. So floored it to make some space.... it was a cop.... driver had suspended license. Only reason they took it in.

Okinawabnr34 has a point, I know a few people who have out of state plate for lower taxes and such. But I know bringing over a car in a container without a RI is a big bust and they can either crush the car or send it back. But if it's registered, and insured that's all the cops probably really care about.

i dont know about cali, but theres a shop in South Carolina where ill soon be getting my R32, and with no conversions, right off the truck, they do paper work for titles and there legal...dont know how they do it, but the titles say NISSAN and model as SKYLINE...no windshield film or emissions is put on them but i dont know how they do it...

yeah i find this hard to belive as well.He hasnt responded at all since.....I hope the moderators ban pple who sell "legal" skylines just to rip pple off cuz thats just dispicable (i mean this guy).I find this sooo hard to believe, i mean if 100s of people have failed at this, what makes this 1 person believable....Or maybe he has an r33 motorex (i belive the only actually legal version of the skyline imported) and is just ****ing with us.

california cant really do anyting to a out of state legal car. I had a full RHD sti conversion wrx on a usa market impreza shell, bunch of BS happend and they impounded my car for 30 days on account that i was "evading a peace officer". im talking about full RHD, catless, FMIC, boost up, crazy rally car. CHP couldnt do anything to the car, they popped the hood, saw everything was aftermarket, saw the RHD (obviously), checked the vins and registration, and that was it. nothing else really, got my car back after 30 days, went to court and won my case.

if your car is legit in another state with proper reg/insur/etc, you can drive it to california. I wouldnt suggest doing anything stupid, but realistically - the chp cant touch you.
