This is just my opinion and it might show that I'm getting older lol...but even if it's a CF hood, the non painted ones always look like you got into an accident and went to a "U Pull It" junkyard and slapped one on.

Again, I'm not downin' your mod. Just posting my opinion.

Yea, again it was just my opinion. I hate it when (especially on this forum) when a member posts an idea or a new mod that they are really proud of and really like. Then you get all these members that do nothing but put it down. If everyone had the same tastes then everything would look the same.

I have a question maybe you can answer. It is purely philosophical. I have owned many cars in my life. The last 6 or 7 have all been top end of whatever brand or model they were and I never added or did anything extra to them.....although some of them could have used some add ons. Why am I now buying an econo ride and seeing what I can add to it? It is comfortable enough....doesn't look bad...drives well....but it is like I want my touch added to it.....however small that may end up being. I have never done this with a vehicle. Since buying my SL hatch I have added tint....splash guards.....vent visors.....WeatherTech mats and DiamondPlate cargo liner. Next will be a new head unit with blue tooth and a portable Nav unit. The tint was needed...lots of glass and too hot in the sun here but the other is not needed.....just wanted. I have told myself no new wheels....mufflers.....tires....but am already re-thinking that. Crazy I am doing this to a sub-compact car.

Yeah I have to agree with Knightro2. To me it just doesn't look right. It looks like you're waiting to get it painted. But it really doesn't matter what I think. If you like it that's all that matters.

AHHHAHAHA! You should get an ebay supercharger for it!

My two cents... the zip-tied license plate has got to go. If OR requires displayment of a front license plate, just give up. Use an actual stock plate holder. It looks MUCH better than zip-tying your license plate. Especially since, without the holder, you have the two screw nubs there anyway, so you'll never achieve the "clean" look that people desire when they re-mount their plates.
