wow.My friend talked about Skyline today. He said lots of valuable information about Skyline1. Skyline is V62. only chip (i think he's talking about ECU) and excause modify easily make 1000 horse power.3. He doesn't know Skyline is FF or FR4. All Skyline has nitroI didn't even try to explain everything he said wrong because he probably gonna say "you don't know anything about car." What the XXXX is going on in this School?

yeah this kid at my school argued with me about his 1990 acura intergra automatic would beat a del sol v-tec and my 1991 240sx 5-speed anyday. I was like are you kidding me, the del sol would beat me. and he was like no the del sol's are slow and my acura with my exhaust (only has a tip, not even a muffler just a new tip) would beat oth of you. I was like okay and stop talking to him becuase my head was starting to hurt from it.

nope~ i'm in collegethey're graduating.I don't care about highschoolerOh! another thing. they strongly believe 1.8 vtec civic( they love vtec you know) can make 400hp. but SR can't even make 300hp because it's not VTEC LOL

I had a weird conversation along these lines today... sort of.
I was talking to a friend who said his car would give mine a run for it's money. I think not. It wouldn't even be close. There is no doubt that he'd win almost any race between us.
He's shoehorned a tuned (LOTS of mods, but still NA) V6 (~250hp, ~200fp) into a 1700lb MG. He's got about a decade of rally experience and likes to drive like a maniac.
My 240 (KA24E) is completely stock; The only vaguely mod-like thing I've done is remove the spare tire. I've not regularly driven a manual in about 6 years except for this past week, and have never driven a performance car before last tuesday either. I have (accidentally) drifted a Mazda 929 though.

a couple of firends are sitting around saturday night. One of them was talking about my friends 240 hatch w/rb25. this guy starts talking to us about how he will race any of us at the track for titles.
(okay, here's where it gets sad...)
He said, and I kid you not, that he has an eclipse in oklahoma (we live in ky) that he paid 50 grand for that will run 3 seconds in the 1/4.I caled BS, so we started asking him a bunch of random stupid questions to see if he would go along with it. for instance:
Q: whats under the hood?
A: a 440 big block v8 magnum, w/ dual jet fuel intakes that can be turned on by a switch and have their own built heads that also run to the block. and it has 2 "fifths" of NOS in the rear wheel wells.
Q: "FIFTHS"?? and a fifth of jack up front right? Where do you get jet fuel?
A: at tinker air force base. it has 3 fuel cells and costs about $225 to fill them all up.
Q: how fast does the car go?
A: the fastest I've ever had it up to was about 420mph. It'll do 200 in first gear without blowing the motor. The guy that built it put 3 speedometers on the side panel.
Q: 3 speedometers? What do you do add them up to get your total?
A: yeah somethin like that.
At this point my friend w/ a z28 walks up and after hearing all this BS, butts in a adds a little of his own. my friends name is erick so i'll call him E and D for the dumbass.E: Hey, I've got something that'll beat your eclipse, I've got a z28 that runs a 1.6 in the quarter.
D: Oh, what does it have under the hood?
E: (with the most serious face i've ever seen in my life) BATMOBILE ENGINE
D: ahh that's cool man!
E: yeah i just ordered the B-89 turbo (B for batmobile) and it's guaranteed to make me run 1/4 of a second in the quarter mile.
D ahh man I saw those on the internet - they are badass!This is the part where I left because I couldn't handle any more of it.E: I can't use jet fuel tho, I have to run a straight mix of whale oil and kerosene. I have to pump the whale oil by hand.
D: Man I've heard of people using that mixture, but never seen it in person tho...
