Get a STRAIGHT piece of wood or a long level and measure the height of the manhole.

Also, find out how low your rear would have sunk if you had old stock suspension and a couple of adults in the back seats. I can almost guarantee that your rear end would have sagged lower than the drop you have now.

You should have completely flattened out the level because thats the only way to know how high the manhole cover goes. Also re-measure your cars ride height with 3 passengers so you know the difference, they can't say your car is lowered illegally when 3 people in it are the reason

I know thats F*ed UP! I think the city should pay for all of that or most of it or something of it, well that should pay for your girls hospital bill... Just tell them to give you a bag full of money and you will forget about the whole thing

yep it was on a road called Holly Hill Drive, on the hospital side of 378 on the opposite side of the 26, if you take the frontage road for I26 it was on a road just off that frontage road.

still cant believe this stuff, gah what pisses me off the most is my dash is blown to hell and it was in perfect condition not a single crack!

is there a way to replace my dash? if so roughly how much would it be?

also i put ALL the pictures i took on my myspace.

myspace.com/gamecock828 under folder titled, 240 wreck

Oh BTW now that i remembered my dad built a 69 challenger for my moms birthday 4 years ago and that thing was low as hell. so one day she comes home from the post office and tells me that the car sounds funny. so i take a look around and notice the exhaust is leeking. i take the car to work the next day put it on the lift and get under it. Know to this day i have no clue how the F$#k the didnt notice she hit a piece of iron sticking out of the ground. the iron hit the collector between both pipes and ripped the manifold of the engine. my dad had to dish out $700 for a new set of headers and a collector.

Wow, that really sucks. Roads are bad in my area as well, I have no idea how people drive s-chassis that basically drag subframes around here.

As for the dash, there is someone selling a mint one on tamparacing.com. Might want to check that one out. 2 bills is a bit steep but it is in great shape.

Keep in mind it is ILLEGAL to sell a car that originally had air bags without written consent from the buyer stating that they know it and accept the responsibility.
