zelda 2 in 16 hours? that game is not extremely difficult, i can beat it in half that time easy. altho i have been playing it for nearly 20 years lol. i pick it up every few years and just go through the game. last time i played it, i didnt remember anything about it (and you can obtain level 8 across the board by killing the skulls in the 2nd castle for about an hour or so). its by far the best game from my childhood. contra was great as well, tmnt, and there was this extremely odd game called amagon that was hard as hell but fun. mike tysons punch out, wrestlemania, sololmns key, maniac mansion, bubble bobble, nes was the s*** in its day , still fun to play the old games now and then.

what i havent beat yet, zelda 1 in zelda mode. the first castle is harder than that last 1 in regular mode.

Worst NES game ever:

And they released it for the Virtual Console!!!!

It's terrible. Your weapon shoots up at an angle when most monsters are level with you, so you can't friggin' hit them. The entire game is based around shooting bubbles at everything in sight while hoping desperately that a hidden secret will be unveiled. "Secret" is really the wrong word, as those secrets are REQUIRED to progress. You have to collect certain items and use them in ways that are NOT obvious to progress. You have ONE life, death is game-over. This is a case study for why trial-and-error gaming is the worst kind of filth this world has ever known.

This guy is pretty of obnoxious but goes into more detail about the game's horribleness.http://www.gametrailers.com/vi...44794

I actually own this game for the NES.

Never heard of it.

Last night some friends came over and I busted out the NES. We played Mario 3.

This morning I got up and played battletoads. I got to level four and stopped. I wanna get good at it again. I can get to the 3rd with all lives and health but that 3rd level is hard, until you can memorize it somewhat.
