I bought a pry bar and tried the technique of hitting down on it but it didn't seem to be doing anything. I was also soaking it in PB Blaster. After I became frustrated with the prybar, I just started hammering onto the lobe itself lol. That didn't seem to do anything either so I sat back in frustration and just stared at it. That's when I noticed it had actually turned a tiny bit and looked crooked so I kept hammering and it came out. You can kinda see in the picture the lobes are flattened out. Thank you Razi for suggesting the method. Unfortunately I also flattened the bolt hole on the actual knuckle a little bit so I'm gonna have to deal with that now but whatever.
As stated in a previous post, the axle nut had already been removed and yes I had the axle removed also. But even if it wasn't, the axle isn't the reason it wasn't coming out. It has insignificant resistance compared to the hub being rusted in.killernoodle wrote:Oh, and take the axle out first, doofus.
