The only two things I did differently was:thejapino wrote:Front:Z32 fr. springsZ32 fr. strutsZ32 fr. Z32 upper mount
Mods: Front strut tower holes need to be slightly closer together to fit the Z32 upper mount. Q45 lower strut bushing needs to be pressed in.
Rear:Z32 rr. springsZ32 fr. strutsQ45 rr. Q45 upper mount
Mods: Z piston is too thick to fit into the Q upper mount and bushings so they need to be filed larger. Bottom of Z spring is slightly larger than the lower perch so I used 1/2 heater hose over the bottom coil to center the spring to seat it. An adapter must me made to mate the Z's lower strut mount to the Q's upright.
I paid $80 for a shop to do the strut mounts.freeagent6 wrote:Definitely looking clean. How much did it cost to those parts fabricated?
Got them from a member on here. kimrober is selling some like mine, except they do not have the trim painted black on the inside. I was looking to buy his to see about knocking out a sick retrofit.evil_panda wrote:Where did you get your headlights from? Also what are you dropped on? Looks amazing on air! Wish I had the $$ for air for my F50!jltibbs wrote:Got them from a member on here. kimrober is selling some like mine, except they do not have the trim painted black on the inside. I am running JIC Magic's. Was on air last summer, and I have no camber adjustment as of yet.
Here's a little better pic of the camber on the rear. I need to get a rear shot. I'm running roughly -4 to -5 camber.
Here's on air.
