Hey guys, I am pretty new here on the forums. So far I have gotten a lot of help on working on my Q from the site. I lowered my G50 using OEM 300ZX parts.
it cost me about $60 for the parts. I used this thread as a Guide the-front-of-my-q-is-very-low-using-oem ... 14402.html. The only thing I did different was I took the shocks that I used for the rear to a Machine shop and they fabricated "OEM brackets" I didnt want to make an adapter. Here are a couple pics I hope you enjoy.

Yeah, I have the "JDM" headlights w/ black trim. One of the best mods ever. Only downside is kick up on driver side versus passenger.

Here you go (click to enlarge type stuff):

Where did you get your headlights from? Also what are you dropped on? Do you have any other suspension parts for camber adj.?

Fabricate what parts? do a search for Z32/R32 suspension swap. You'll find the info on how to install the suspension. really easy.

Instead of using angle iron make adapter brackets for the rear. I had the strut itself modded to fit the rear. Here is pretty much what I did from this thread the-front-of-my-q-is-very-low-using-oem ... 14402.html.
thejapino wrote:Front:Z32 fr. springsZ32 fr. strutsZ32 fr. Z32 upper mount

Mods: Front strut tower holes need to be slightly closer together to fit the Z32 upper mount. Q45 lower strut bushing needs to be pressed in.

Rear:Z32 rr. springsZ32 fr. strutsQ45 rr. Q45 upper mount

Mods: Z piston is too thick to fit into the Q upper mount and bushings so they need to be filed larger. Bottom of Z spring is slightly larger than the lower perch so I used 1/2 heater hose over the bottom coil to center the spring to seat it. An adapter must me made to mate the Z's lower strut mount to the Q's upright.
The only two things I did differently was:
1. On the Front Z32 Strut, I decided to Bore out the hole rather than struggle with pressing bushings in and out.
2. For the rear I had the lower mount on the strut removed and had a new lower mount welded in(instead of using an adapter).

I paid $80 for a shop to do the strut mounts.

Got them from a member on here. kimrober is selling some like mine, except they do not have the trim painted black on the inside. I was looking to buy his to see about knocking out a sick retrofit.

I am running JIC Magic's. Was on air last summer, and I have no camber adjustment as of yet.

Here's a little better pic of the camber on the rear. I need to get a rear shot. I'm running roughly -4 to -5 camber.

Here's on air.

Just as a side note before someone else says it, I know the tires I had on before look really retarded, and did not notice until now. So, no further comments, thanks!

Well, I'm trying to get everything set just right to where I can get my coilovers like that and still drive it. I want the wheels flush instead of camber, and stretch of course. we will see.

BTW, keep looking for deals on air, you will find one sooner or later :)
