but Ive had my coupe since july 08 and i already have almost 9k on it. I used to hate to drive, but i love this car so much i want to drive it everywhere, even when others offer to drive.

Easy! I drive 100 km (60 miles) EACH way to work every day! So, 600 miles a week, just to work! I live in the country so a simple grocery trip can add another 50. A haircut or clothes? Well, that's a 75 mile round trip. Lengthy trips at Xmas, driving my kid to friend's places, etc. It adds up very quickly! And... I like the car so I don't normally turn down a chance to drive it somewhere!

yea like you i live far from work... 40 miles away. I have been taking the bus since the beginning of january to try to cut down on the mileage. but i gotta take the subway to the bus thats 1 hour and the bust trip is another hour and 15 min

ive had my car since July 27, 2007 and to this current date i have 31,666 miles on the clock.

after a month of having the car with about 1600 miles i went to the track and ran a 14.9, wasnt satisfied with that, so i took it back the week after and ran a 14.6, then in nov. 07 went back to the track and pulled a 14.511, and then in july i finally pulled off a 14.2 @ 100.

so far my car has been to the track on 5 different occassions. 70% of the driven miles on my car is hwy mileage, my car has only been out of state less than a handful of times excluding the track sessions, so yea. 31.6K miles basically driven in NY in less than 2 years.

basic warranty is up soon, but then my extended kicks in right after.

and i broke my car in the racecar way, which is the best way, so i the engine should be able to hold up to boost when i do it.

i say ill turbo it around 40k miles...shouldnt be a problem since i broke it in well. thats when my real project starts.

In the 11 months ive had mine i've driven it 9444.8 miles. was in the body shop for a month after a guy backed into my passenger side front fender and door. dumb a$$... but ya i cant help myself from just driving around for no reason.

i hit 21k last night and I got my car almost exactly 15 months ago.im trying to restrict myself to about 27miles a day so i can even out by the end of the year.

but on boring late nights ill go out for joy rides...come back home and have like 90some miles on for that day.

its not too bad. 4.7miles to school, 4.7miles back home. and 10miles on weekends to my moms casa

I havnt had my car a year yet, I think I have a month left. I'm at alittle over 22k, but I actually bought my car as a daily driver so I didnt have to drive around my gas guzzling project cars. so I knew before I bought it it was going to have some high miles on it.

aside from the sponsered cars on here, I dont think any of us need to start putting our cars on a trailer to save mileage so that the engine doesnt blow before we start blazing down the track.

Exactly. They start life as 'family sport coupes'.... kinda says it all. Doesn't mean we can't love em (or trick them out) but does mean we need to remember we aren't driving Porsches or Ferraris... put miles on it if you like it... mine hasn't complained so far.
