I got mine at the end of May last year and im at 10,500 miles.

The job im probably going to be starting is 4 miles away from my house =] My former was about 8 so I never really packed on the miles too much. And one trip to NJ and back. Nothing too serious.

I love to drive, after 16 months I'm almost have 40k/km.

I should have more but when Gas Prices reached $1.50+ a liter (Premium), I had to cut down/stay home.

In exactly one year I put 23,500 miles on my 07 Tundra...Big ole 5.7 liter chuggin' around 13 MPG...I had it on the dyno four days after I bought it and ran about 100 dyno pulls on it within the first three weeks of ownership...Modern engine's can go hundreds of thousand's of miles as long as they're well maintained. Don't worry about putting miles on it. After all, what's the point of owning it if you don't use it?

Gas is hovering just around 80 cents a liter right now... so roughly, what, $3 a gallon? About 15-18 bucks a day on fuel. You can picture the hit when gas touches $1.30 a liter... But it doesn't matter, I have to do it!

Don't worry about putting miles on it. After all, what's the point of owning it if you don't use it?

I wish I had enough money to wash my car that often. For about the first 6months of owning this car I would wash / polish my car at least 3 times a week. Now it's down to about once every other week :'(

daily drivers are meant to be driven daily... nothing wrong with these numbers IMO!

when choosing the car I wanted, there was a used 2004 CL 65 AMG across the street from my dealer going for 25K... and this was 2007, so I'm like hell yess... I go to take it for a test drive... the dam* thing had 149,000 miles on it... a three year old car with 149K miles... I ran outta there like a bat outta hell... who the hell drove that car, and what were they doing to rack up those kind of miles... must have been a drug running car, that's all I could think of!

I dunno... I'm on target for over 100K miles in 3 years, just to and from work. Add in routine trips, pleasure driving, weekend trips, etc. and I'll be close to that number. No drug running involved... Maybe the guy was a wide-ranging sales rep or country real estate agent... I've known a couple of those who have done more than 2K miles in one week! Not sure I'd want to do THAT in a modded A/C though...

I bought my car the end of November 2007 and I have 28,000 miles on it. 80 miles round trip to work kills me. But hey its a car is meant to get us around right?

Okay.. i dont feel soo bad now cause every1 at school says i drive alot.. but its about to be a year in march and im at 13k now! but i drive to school everyday.. never take the bus.. well forgot how to now!! lol

haha, me too. I never take the bus or even the train anymore to school. i drive everyday. got my car back in march 07, its just a lil under 31K but hey i love my car, had many memorable memories within those yrs and many more to come.
