im sure you can all agree, its in absolutely flawless condition. i only took one picture because im lazy but how about you guys let me know if you see anything awry. it goes to diel's (sp?) nissan this weekend for machine work. apparently this guy is the man.

BUT FIRST!! check out these lifters. im not rebuilding them or anything, but some professional opinions?

and here is the head itself, still on the damn block of course. its hard lifting it all off by yourself, and my friends arent awake before 2pm-ish. i go to work at one. kill me.

there are still two lifters stuck in the exhaust side. any ideas on how to get them out? ive got a really strong magnet on a stick, but it just broke the shaft on the damn thing. they will turn and everything, they just wont come out!

oh, and if anyone needs/wants that buncha-muncha-chruncha stuff on the side of the intake manifold it is for sale/free/garbage. theres also a relatively new stock narrowband o2 sensor and my tuned ecu up for grabs. the ecu is tuned but not socketed and is for a stock engine with 10psi or so, intake, exhaust, etc. terry has dibs on the ecu, but if he doesnt SAY SOMETHING its all kindsa going to the person who says something first.

I just want to say that I'm impressed to see that you actually have all your fingers intact, at least on your left hand...

Awwww. This thread had been up 4.5 hrs before I posted in it!

Seriously though, it does look fine Tim. The lifters look a little strange, but that could just be the light/camera.

no, the lighting is right. they look like that in person too. some marks where the cams have been hitting them, but nothing substantial.

It's Tim he makes retarded post like this all the time, we've come to expect these types of posts from him. He's mostly drunk 90% of the time on here and in his daily routine.

i forget how it works with you, anyway, you havnt drunk exactly the right amount!

dude, you shall have your awesome photos just as soon as one of my friends gets off their duff and helps me lift the head off the block. im not really a big guy (despite the sig.) and with the intake manifold and exhaust manifold attached it is a little too heavy for me to finesse off thurr. by the way i did drink the right amount last night but it was too late by then and i wasnt driving.

WHAT! No way it took three of us to take the CA motor I got out of the back of my truck. I don't even like carrying the head around myself. i guess I am just a wuss too.

Don't listen to them R34 do it the right way and get some help. Then again if you messed something up by removing it yourself you could start another thread

Yo Tim and updates or pics of the head progress? Are you going to do anything to it performance wise?

you guys know me all too well. a lack of money is keeping me from doing anything right now. i earn $5.85/hr at my worthless summer job at the golf course. i cant wait for it to be mid june, when i will be getting paid 20/hr for something worthwhile.

$5.85/hr? Jeez man if they're gonna give it to you like that, you should at least ask for a reach around.

i thought you're not suppose to turn the hydraulic lifters upside down cause it'll cause air to get in and it'll cause it to become noisy later..
