The car I had the most problems with ever was my '77 Z-Car. I called it Russian Roulette when I turned the key. You never knew when it was going to start or leave you stranded. Left for work in it one morning and the brakes were sluggish the first 2 stops, then completely out the 3rd time I tried to stop. It was a stick so I could gear it down good enough to turn it back around and get it home. It was always something with that car.

However, the new V6 engine by Ford makes 300+ hp and gets 31mpg!!! Ford is first to achieve this. I'm really jealous, I wish Infiniti was first to reach this mile stone. I'd like to see Infiniti come out with better more fuel efficient (Di) engines. I know for a fact Infiniti can make better cars then Ford. Time to catch up Infiniti! I hope someone at Infiniti actually reads this post... Sorry guys just needed to vent.

yeah I thought the same thing when the new Camaro came out. 304 hp V6, 6 spd, looks awesome imo. THEN I drove one holy crap what a pos!

The Mustang might be faster but its still going to be a FORD. Go drive one and come back and let us know if you still need to vent.

I have been spanking the !!V8!! Mustang GT's at my local drag strip in my V6 G 35 sedan for 3 years now. I'd blow up your thread with video proof but I'll just post a link to my photobucket instead.

So really Ford just caught up right now from 2007-2010 the V8 Stang was a joke in the performance department.

: My first car was an 04 Ford Mustang, put 80,000 miles on it (i was afraid that once it hit 100k no one would touch it...i know i wouldn't).. It did the job, great car, besides some electrical problems that were due to my retardly over sized subs. I must say....I gotta give props for ford for their v6 300hp mustang, and even more for their v8 420 hp engine, but its nothing impressive

You might say Im a ford guy, because I have 4 fords in My garage(all of which are faster than My G)But the G has one of the best compromises between performance and comfort of any Car I have ever driven.

It really is a great compromise!! I love driving my G's every day!!! Sure, my cobra was faster and went thru the twisties faster, and was more reliable, but like I've said before, my G coupe just fits me better!

Little real estate analogy for you here...

Furd is to doublewide as is Infiniti is to custom built home.

SAT prep is over

I will admit the new Tarus looks pretty nice, but with Furd's history of great engineering and top of the line materials, they'll be lined up in the junk yard in no time.

I drove a black 1989 Ford Mustang GT when I was in high school and college. It was the 25th Anniversary edition and was a pretty sweet ride...especially at that time. I sold it a few years back to get something more practical for law school.

A week ago I bought a black 2010 G37x with Premium/Navigation and a bunch of other options. My mom asked how it compared to my old Mustang. I told her it was like the Mustang had grown up, developed some class and tried on some big boy pants.

There's just not much comparison in my mind. Two different vehicles for two different markets.
