Seriously. I am so mad right now I feel the need to break things with my bare hands.

They have been running me around for 2 days. My package has been at the local hub since Sunday morning.

Their customer service is so bad I just hung up after 10 minutes because I was getting nowhere. The guy seemed bored. Didn't seem bothered by the fact that the driver had claimed to have attempted delivery, and then gone off the grid so as to avoid being contacted. No delivery attempt was made, and now I have to wait until tomorrow evening, so I can drive somewhere and pick it up myself because they are incapable of doing 2 of the 3 things their business is built on.

Shame on the driver for not being able to do the one thing he gets paid to do. Its like a hooker welching on sex. My house is easy to find, the doorbell works. He didn't input the "delivery attempt" until 10 minutes before the end of hours. I dont know about you, but when I have a job to do, I don't drop everything when the bell rings. I keep working till its all said and done.

I bet Im not the only one who thinks FedEx should die in a fire.

PS, UPS had no issue delivering a package yesterday, and it was shipped AFTER the one from FedEx. I guess I know what parcel service I will be going out of my way to use from now on.

End Rant.

Sounds to me that FedEx needs to fire a driver. I get the same crap from UPS and USPS as well. It's all the human element clogging the stream. I know it sucks to see your box soooo close, and yet "they" can't get it to you.

I like the way carriers leave weapons and ammo on front porches and go.

Yeah I would just say F it and go pick it up myself. You can b**** out the costumer service but that never gets you anywhere. Its the drivers fault anyways.

Ive had my RUCAS delivered to the wrong house. Luckily the guy was nice and delivered it to my house after a day

:werd: don't condemn the whole for one person screwing up. you're not the first person a courier has screwed over, and i'm sure you won't be the last. if your package had never made it to the hub, i could understand being pissed at FedEx, but it did.

Fed-Ex is 2-3 times more expensive to ship goods to me, from the US.

This is also NOT the first time I have heard bad things about Fed-Ex.

USPS and UPS usually deliver stuff to me within 4 working days. (Once, I even got a package 2 days after I ordered it!)

That's the thing. I can't pick it up. Apparently the don't do that anymore. Instead I have to wait until this evening when it supposedly will be delivered to a kinkos sort of near me.

I know its the drivers fault, but blame also lays with the company for allowing this sort of behavior.

Sucks to hear. I've never had an issue with FedEx or UPS, though. They're great around here. USPS are retards. They lost $5000 worth of material for the healthcare place my mom works at, and they lost some books (twice!) I sold. Despite having insurance, they wouldn't pay me back, and every time I called, their system just happened to be down. Every single time.

Ian, I've picked up stuff at the FedEx before- as recently as this spring. They don't have a real customer pick up counter- its a freaking desk in a hallway, but they should do it. I agree though- MN UPS is much better than the MN FedEx.

I live near a FedEx hub, so I don't have that problem with them. The overnight and Saturday delivery chick on my home route is smoking hot, too... And she's my age. I might have to do something about that.

Our Store had a confirmed delivered package with a name that seemed fake but it turns out...

1. They Delivered it to the wrong address, someone signed for it even though the address was way wrong, and left nothing on our door, OBVIOUSLY he was a farkin block away from us.

2. The person who signed for it sat on it for about a month.

3. Driver went back and got it and brought it straight to us, after a lot of phone conversation.

I hate UPS and FEDEX. Neither of them know how to knock or ring a door bell. Everytime they come to my house, I end up having to get my ****. A few examples

Wheels: Dude didnt even knock, just stuck a note on the door ( I was watching from my room)
Oakley Backpack: Delivered to wrong house, they told me where and I went to my backpack right off dude's porch
Lipkit: Didnt attempt. I had to go get it....WTF
Sub Box. I had to follow dude to mcdonalds to get it. He was like "I knocked" and I asked him "well why didnt my dogs bark?"

Just a few examples. USPS though, dude will either leave it in the mailbox if it fits, or hide it on my back porch. Dude is supercool. He left a pair of shoes inside my grill, and stuck a note in the mailbox. James is super cool, so cool I know his name

Yeah, I know my USPS guy for the weekend, but the daily guy is a straight-up toolbag who doesn't deliver anyone's mail or packages at the same time ANY day twice in a row.

I don't have a problem with my USPS mail guy, its just their service that's pure s***. I just ordered a smartphone that was supposed to come in today, and now I'm finding out it might be lost. In August, they lost a $150 textbook I sold and wouldn't give me $100, despite me paying insurance for it. Their customer service is completely useless as well.

oh hell f*** no, it must be the end of the f*** world... u dont have any f*** idea how bad delivery services are getting slammed right now. they overload their drivers with an idiotic stupid f*** stupid amount of packages that its f*** insane to be able to deliver all in one day. SURE its a piss off dude, but don't go bitching at the driver because FEDEX has overloaded the poor guy that he probably scanned the delivery as attempted because he wanted to get home to his family for just the little amount of time he had or just plain didn't have the energy to complete the stupid overloaded amount of deliveries. these guys are doing upwards of 200 deliveries and 300 miles every f*** damn day. FEDEX are bastards man...I personally know what they put their drivers through.

bottom line. b**** at cooperate FedEx...not the poor guy killing his body and mind. Plus these guys are risking their lives to bring your package...Salut and mad respect to FedEx and UPS drivers...i know what you have to go through, ESPECIALLY this time of year. :tisk:

Wow thats bad. How do they just lose something too? It doesn't just get up and walk away. I wonder if they find a lost package and keep it for themselves after a while. Really Ive never had a problem with either fedex, ups, or usps around here except for that 1 small incedent.

I could see you starring her down through the window behind curtains with your pants at your ankles, holding yourself, talking to yourself about the conversion you would have that eventually leads to her naked in your room.

LOL! Just bustin your balls man

At long rant who's name I cant see because Nico has bugs when in full editor: The point is that they have a job that they need to do. Sure its a longass day and stupid hours, and I can forgive a day late on a delivery for that. But some of the things from this thread are outragous. Halfass people doing halfass work. Im glad my delivery guys are cool, usually on time, and they knock.

Sidenote: Those are some extra ghey shorts too I mean really. F*** those especially in cold windy weather. My snake would be hangin out the bottom of those Speedo's for heavens sake. Has FedEx ever heard of PANTS

That sucks about what Fed Ex did to you. Perhaps the "Ex" is short for Excrement.

They shouldn't be in this line of business if they can't handle the stress and strain that is required of them. Bottom line.

yea you have a point, but even for the stongest minds and fittest people, it is still one hell of hard job during peak season.

I've had multiple problems with FedEx. In fact, now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever actually had a shipment go correctly with FedEx. I typically badmouth them quite a bit, which wasn't very welcome when I was very near their major hub (Memphis).

But yeah, they blow donkey balls. I try and use USPS whenever I can, with UPS as a 2nd choice. I cringe when FedEx is the only service offered from a vendor.

I'm a USPS guy as well. Never had any issues with them UPS is my second choice. Although just today, UPS came to drop off a package. I saw the truck outside, got up to go to the door, I hear the bell ring, I get to the door 3 seconds later, and the guy threw the package on the floor mat and was halfway back to the truck already. He must have literally dropped it on the ground, rang the bell, and jogged back to the truck. I know they're busy right now, but jeez!

We have the best UPS driver at my job. He brings boxes all the way to the back of the store and puts boxes that need to be refrigerated in our walk-in too. He gets a check around at the end of each year from the owner. Whenever he's on vacation we miss him; we're spoiled by the good service/friendliness.
As far as home--I've never had an issue with them [UPS], maybe a beat up box or two but nothing damaged or missing. USPS burned me on a set of SSR wheels I ordered on Ebay 5 yrs ago. The seller sent them as a pair in two separate boxes from CA. It was winter and we had a snow storm. I got the first box and then a note for the 2nd saying they weren't going to leave it out front because of the "inclement weather." I went to the main hub to get them and they sent them BACK TO CA and I never heard from the seller again (of course!)

Fed-Ex is expensive and slow and I've had to go pick up things at the hub mostly because I'm impatient (but they sure screw up a lot).

I have a beef with UPS. I purchased 4 42' LCD Tv's on black Friday for my employee's Christmas presents. UPS Decided it would be OK to just leave them on my front porch on a Day that it snowed at least 7 inches, even though I specified "Adult Signature required"

Who in their right mind would think it was ok to leave big ticket items like that in plain view of the street and out in the elements! I almost wished one of them would have been damaged so I could tear someone a new A-Hole. Tis the season.

NO.

I knew it would sound like I was bragging or boasting but that's not the way it was meant. I think I am a rather humble person and realize that my sales force is the only reason I enjoy the limited success that I have.

I got them on BF for a smoking deal. They are nothing fancy, and a brand I have never heard of before but I can guarantee they are a step up from anything they now own.

My UPS is kind of cool, but he's black. There are dogs running loose in the yard. So that creates an issue.

When I wasn't working we established a system. He honks three times and I come out to meet him at the truck. Worked great. It was like Christmas when he arrived.

Now I'm working. He's afraid of the dogs. I'll find the packages near the end of the driveway hidden in some trees or somewhere random. It's like an Easter Egg hunt!
