I wondered that too... Hey blink, I know the rookie driver stigma, but I honestly think it's ridiculous how much crap rookies catch. I'm not necessarily saying I think you're being unfair, or even attacking rookie drivers, I'm just saying I think that people forget that they were there once too and made the same mistakes. I'm not going to give my speech about how I think I came to driving pretty well prepared comparitively to most of the nation's teens, but I will say that I wish teens got less of the bad rap that we do. I'd venture to say there are nearly as many dumb adult drivers as teen ones, often the dumb adults were also dumb teens once... Anyway, I'll stop rambling now...

Well the black 95 Max(275,000+ miles) and the 04 Murano is my moms and the Windstar and the white 95 Max are my dads. The white Max isnt insured or registered and hasnt been driven anywhere besides my driveway and to the gas station in the past year and a half(about the time we got the van). We just got the Murano last week so now I would drive what ever vehicle was left behind which in most cases is the minivan. My mom works about an hour away in the Bronx so she just drove her Max and my pops drove the Murano. I was supposed to get the white Max, but now my pops wants to toy around with it(Nice stereo rims, and a few performance goodies). Now Im stuck with my moms max which still pulls like a champ, but I want my dads until I save enough for them to assist me in getting an S14. They basically gave me the black one, but now I cant drive anything cuz we are back to two cars to drive until the van is fixed.

Come on dude, not everyone makes those mistakes. I'm 21, and grew up driving in saskatchewan winters with no accidents. Face it, some people are just better drivers than others. I agree about how many stupid adult drivers society has, BUT they do have more experience driving in bad conditions, such as snow/ice. You can't argue with that :)

Trust me... you will feel a whole lot better in a coupla days. We've all been there; Well, most of us anyway. Your parents will get over it too, they are just pissed right now but they'll trust you again. Assuming they did to begin with ;)

I know I assume it'll be within the month before they let me start driving again cuz I did all the errands(gas, shopping, lil bros b ball practice, ect...) for them since they get home late sometimes. They are gonna need me for those things cuz its hard for them to do. Thats what Ill do until they let me have most of the freedoms I had before.
