hunt for the red sr or black

hi i was wondering where you guys bought your sr's from and what kind of luck you have had, who to stay away from etc.i have a 93 180sx type X and am looking for a good black top s13 swap or cheap red top any help would be great thanks!!

i dont think he really has a jdm blacktop 180sx...Do you?

I found mine in here from a fellow member. Well most of it, piecing together a rebuild.

well thats because 180sx's after 91 came with a SR, primarilly redtop. 94-98 had the blacktop. and type X 180's were only made in 97-98. even then, there really is no big difference between the type x SR and normal SRs. just bragging rights. mine came with NISMO cams. so i guess thats something cool.

so yeah, no 93 180sx Type X. pictures are worth 1000 words.

They're not hard to find. stick with one of the sponsers here and you should be o.k. Had mine for about three years, driven all the time and have had zero problems (knock on wood)...
