HEY GUYS. I HAVE 2 QUESTIONS ACTUALLY
1- I HIT THE CURB WITH MY RIGHT FRONT TIRE ONCE I WAS GOING UP IN A PARKING LOT AT ABOUT 20 MPH AFTER THAT I THINK I STARTED HEARING A HUMMING SOUND IN SPEED BETWEEN 40-65MPH. THE MORE I INCREASE THE SPEED THE MORE FREQUENT THE SOUND BETWEEN THOSE SPEEDS. AND WHEN I I TURN LEFT I HEAR IT MORE TOWARDS THE RIGHT TIRE. SO WHATS THE SIGNS OF A WHEEL BEARING FAILURE??? AND SHOULD IT STILL BE UNDER WARRENTY?? I HAVE 39K ON THE CAR???
2- I HAD A CHECK ENGINE LIGHT 2 DAYS AGO AND PICKED UP A CODE P0444 WHICH CALLS FOR PCV VALVE FAILURE IS IT UNDER WARRENTY??? AND WHERE IS THAT VALVE LOCATED PLEASE?

THANK YOU VERY MUCH IN ADVANCE

1. Most likely it's a wheel bearing. Check with dealership if they can replace it under Nissan's approval since it is out of warranty. If not then you may try a different dealership or replace by yourself to safe some money. It's not that hard to replace but wheel bearings are not cheap.
2. I had this code a few weeks ago and the problem was a gas cap...didn't tie it well enough. Remove the gas cap and reinstall it then reset the code. If it will give you the code then the problem probably the fuel tank pressure sensor.

HI there, the vent control valve is actually a very easy part to replace yourself, and there is an existing thread that should provide all the details you need to quickly make the repair on your own:

Good luck and let us know how things work out for you.
