Yeah, some what just asking question I figured I knew the answere too, but not being hugely into this type of thing, I didn't do much ground work on finding out what this is...I looked at a few pages the into link to, and saw very little difference then Myspace. The first few responces just made this seem so revolutionary, when I can't help but see it as only another option.

Are we encouraged to actively recruit more forums to get on this train?

I can think of about 10 that I regularly visit that I'd like to be able to link my Zoints profile to.

Should I just send emails to the admins, or do I have you (Greg) do that?

IMO, the big draws to this thing are:

-Easy way to sync one's identity between forums. I'm on pretty much every national 240 forum in existence, but people on Zilvia would have no easy way of finding my name on here, and vice-versa.

-LOTS of free, easy picture hosting. Much better than the system on MySpace.

-Easy way to find more forums/sites you might be interested in. Go to "communities" and check out some of the other car boards, for instance. You might find some you've never heard of.

The more widely adopted this becomes, the more useful it'll be. If every forum I'm on uses Zoints, it'll be great, if only one or two, then less great.

Oh, and can I invest in this? lol. Tom sold MySpace for $580 million, I want a piece of this pie, no jokes, 100% serious.

Same here. But, i don't think myspace has any market options open for people outside of the zoints team to invest. If you find out message me.

That miserable pile of crap just sold out again....

The funny thing is, Google could have purchased MySpace for about half of what NewsCorp paid for it (580 million) if they'd acted faster.

Now it's falling apart at the seams, people are seeing that there's a better way, and Google will probably throw more money at fixing it than it's worth.

That's because Semir is part of your network. The "interest" section is a conglomeration of those you have listed in the network. Your interests is a seperate section that you can add to.
