Josh,

We are all discussing that in a different forum right now:

http://www.nissaninfiniticlub....20630

He sent me an invoice, and wire transfer reciept from another person that bought an engine from him. I am going to try to call the fella tomorrow and see if everything went smoothly. He also stated he will send a copy of the bill of laden proving it was shipped overseas, but at the same time, he could just be sending a pair of cotton socks to his friend in Oklahoma with the bill of laden attached to it. heh.

he's in Malaysia, which makes it easy to get ripped off since they can't have escrow accounts, or paypal there. We are all skepitical, but it could be legit.

The more him and I converse with eachother, the more legit he is becoming. He did offer to give me more numbers of clients, which I did ask him to send me that list to check and make sure this is all for real. When I get more info (good or bad), don't worry, I will be sharing.

:D

if anyone wants a copy of that invoice, let me know. I don't mind sharing the info I have gotten thus far.

SEE THAT IS BAD BUSINESS UNLESS THE CLIENT KNOWS HE IS GIVING OUT THEIR INFORMATION. I WOULD BE ROYALLY PISSED IF SOMEONE GAVE OUT MY PHONE NUMBER TO SOMEONE WHO WAS INTERESTED IN IF MY PRODUCT HAS ARIVED OR WHATNOT.

OK THIS IS GETTING OUT OF HAND. I NOW HAVE SERIOUS DOUBTS. I WAS GOING TO TRY AND OPEN A BUSINESS ACCOUNT SOON CAUSE WE HAVE FINALLY GOT INVESTORS BUT NOW I'M THINKING I'LL GET BACK WITH VENUS OR FLASHOPTIONS. THIS DOESN'T SEEM LIKE GOOD BUSINESS PRACTICE, TO ME SEEING AS ANY RESPECTABLE BUSINESS WOULDN'T DO IT. I KNOW THE GUY BEHIND THE HOTSTUFF NAME IS A PRETTY GOOD GUY ONLINE, I KNOW THAT THE BUSINESS HAS GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE, I ALSO KNOW THEY HAVE PRETTY CRAPPY BUSINESS ADVERTISING PRACTICES, BUT WHAT I DON'T KNOW IS IF THEY ARE WHAT THEY APPEAR TO BE. I'M GOING TO STICK WITH A REPUTABLE COMPANY UNTIL THINGS CHANGE.

Hey musicsufer, i think you are getting some negetive t. Please do inform that we have asked the client's permission before giving out his infomation to Akira0. You can try to contact the client and asked 'bout it. Jiffy is another client from us and we did asked him the permission to give out his info but he does not agree but to come online by himself to settle the unsolve question. Hope you will understand what we are trying to do.

Hotstuff,

We admire that you are trying to give forth the effort to prove that you are a infact a buisnessman interested in selling engines, but when someone from another country comes online and says "hey I bought an engine" that could be ANYONE posting that. What we all want is cold hard facts. Such as invoices, Bill of Laden proving it was sent out of country to the US, invoices, etc etc etc. We need proof that they have indeed been sent out. We all would also like your telephone number to contact you directly to talk about this.

Hell what you could do is take a picture of one of the engine with a piece of paper on the head with the letter A on it, proving you took the picture. Take another picture of a different engine with the letter B on it, or some sort of recognition showing that you do have them.

Send us VIN numbers off the clips so they can be identified.

Any of these facts are what we are after, not someone claiming to have done business with you. I am not saying Jiff is making up stories, I am simply stating it still doesn't eliminate doubt we all have.

Last thing for all NICO people.

I have a friend that is going out of town to Malaysia on buisness. I requested that he stop by racinghard and take a look at operations, to which he has agreed to do so. I requested from Hotstuff if that will be ok, maybe they can have lunch, take a look at operations, and give us the green light.

Hotstuff, I await your reply to the request.

Perfect! I will get the plans underway then.

On the pictuers, just take em like I said, with soem form of recognition on them, like a toy figure, or a paper with the letter A on them, take a pic of the VIN plates, etc etc etc. The more we have, the happier we are :)

Seems to me that more buyers are getting screwed then supplies/retailers. Why not do a half now/half on delivery? That would be fair for everyone. :thinker

I did ask him that a while back, but unfortunately, he doesn't do COD, which is why we are asking him to pull blood from a stone now for verification.

If he does change his mind about COD, of course we would all be waiting with monies in hand. :)

Come on guys. Don't send money to ANYONE for an engine. I am having a nightmare with Cameron and he is in the US. Imagine trying to track someone down out of the country. If they want to sell engines bad enough make them take the extra step and let them send you the engine/clip first and then you pay. Let them know how it feels.

We can sit here and send peices of paper back and forth, and take a ga-jillion pictures, and get people from freaking Antarctica saying how happy they are with their motor from racinghard.com, but in the end, noone will really be happy until people on these forums have ordered and are happy with the product and service.

So we'll just have to sit back and wait until that happens.

Well I for one would never order anything with that amount of money again from any "online business" Unless they are willing to send the item up front and do a COD I would just forget about it.
