Hey guys my lady just got a venom Red Rogue exactly 24 hrs ago. Before I regeistered with the forum i was looking at all the topics and i guess I'll answer some FAQ.

Sticker price was $27,845.00 its an SL with all the bells and whistles. FWD, Leather, sunroof bose premium etc.

Heres the bottom line guys and I think i bartered a hell of a deal what do you think? Selling price 24,683.72 + TTL + extended warranty 6yr 75,000 miles. the total drive out price was $26,528.88

and now i have a question for the audio guys, Where can i run the power cable for the amp through the firewall. it is so crampped in the engine bay. Next, I will be using a Line Output converter for signal to the amp. will i be able to use the speaker wire from the bose sub? if so, which wire is the pos and which is the neg. wire? Plan on throwing in a 12" solo baric in the hatcch.

I was very surprised as to how how smooth the rogue drives. Although engine wise is a lot less than what i'm used to (my daily driver is a '06 Charger Go ManGo) but the 4 banger is good enough for the lady in my life.

Thanx for reading and God bless.

Enjoy the Rogue, MSRP before options $22,610 could have gotten it for invoice $21,134 with leather, sunroof, splash guard, floor mats. $5,065 invoice $4,373 incentives $1,250 could have maybe gotten $24,257 not really knowing all options of course. Check Overstock.com

I dosen't really matter as long as you enjoy the Rogue.

Howdy RedVenom. The unknown (variable) in evaluating your negotiating skills is what you dished out for the 6yr 75K mile warranty. The Rogue and all the assorted options are pretty much a cookie cutter formula. There are plenty of websites that will tell you what you could have snagged it for (like Edmunds TMV - Tru Market Value)

http://www.edmunds.com/nissan/....html

Off the top of my head (using a crude calculation) a rough estimate for your Rogue, options including TTL off the lot (WITHOUT Exended Warranty) would be around $25340. I didn't get the extended warranty although I was quoted $749 for 3 years so maybe the extra $1100 you paid covers the 6 year warranty. Sounds about right.

Actually... forget the negotiations. Its a sweet ride. Just enjoy it! Now is where the real negotiations start. You have to convicnce your lady some aftermarket options are needed. Tweaking the Rogue is half the fun of owning one.

Aftermarket options:zer...gue-s

Chrome accessories, check out this thread for plenty of photos:zerothread?id=421141

or even a wood dash kit:zerothread?id=427240

Elton, one of the first things i told her she needs to is de badge the back. When i was following her home from the dealership i was just thinking how much more bad a$$ it would look debadged. WHen we did the late night drive to the store, i told her too, the dome lights "got to go." I have blue LEDs in my charger and blue cold cathodes underneath the dash and rear seats and also in the grill. We're gonna do the same thing in her venom red except in pretty PINK lights. She's excited. I just cant wait til i make her car go thump thump thumpity thump.

p.s. thanks for the links to the websites are there any other accesories lwebsites outhere?

Welcome to the forum RedVenom!

Some of our fellow Rogue owners have done audio modifications, in addition to replacing the sub. You can find some of this information in the Official Rogue FAQ There is also a thread dealing specifically with replacing the sub and routing the battery wire that will answer many of your questions:

zerothread/322282

I will add this the FAQ for future reference.

Good luck with your audio updgrades!

thanks for the link to the audio. it will be most helpful. Who knows how long it would have taken me to figure out that i would have to start by removing the battery. In my charger the batterie's in the trunk and boy oh boy was that helpful. 5 ft red and 5 ft ground. 5feet remote cause theres a fuse box in tthe trunk too.

As the popularity of the Rogue has grown so has the number of sites offering atermarket accessories. You have the old standbys like JC Whitney

http://www.jcwhitney.com/webap...10101

and you can even find a lot of Rogue accessories on eBay.

http://shop.ebay.com/items/?_n...cat=0

You can also go crazy Googling "Rogue accessories" (in quotes), because many sites "claim" to have Rogue acessories only to find out once you hit the website the distributor is only offering generic items that are made for any and all cars... like car covers, vinyl pinstriping, LED lite kits, chrome muffer tips, etc. First and foremost we encourage you to check out the sponsor sites located in the banners of this forum. That said... while I don't promote one online store over another... one of the easiest "all in one place" websites specifically for Rogue accessories is this one:

Welcome RedVenom, Currently adding lots of accessories to my Rogue, just yesterday added some faux wood pieces to my dash to make it a lil more classy, looks great.

My Miata has the battery in the trunk as well.

Howdy Ray... just curious whose faux wood kit did you decide to go with (which supplier / manufacturer) Any pics? Also... what color is your Rogues interior and what color wood kit did you end up going with?
