I thought it was a good write up. Most of the tools that flame every post talk a lot of smack, but end up fvking up stuff more than fixing it.

Also now that our cars are getting older (and cheaper) a lot of kids are rolling in them as their first rides. Last I checked car mechanics wasn't an inherent trait .

Also I don't believe this procedure is in the FSM, I didn't look...but I don't think I have seen it mentioned.

10x better at starts and stop lights.although, I dont backfire as much as I used to . I kinda like the little fireballs I'd get between shifts

where did you get that intake piping?

i used throttle body cleaner on mines. also clean out the intake hose as well. was able to get an extra psi of boost from it.

i used brake cleaner to clean my mafs. do you have to shrink wrap the wires going to the mafs? if they're not shrink wrapped, and just has electrical tape around them, will it cause an unstable idle and bad throttle response?

Do you know how many cans of brake clean I went through when I was rebuilding my SR? Yes, it does eat away plastic, latex, powder coat, paint etc etc but Ive yet to see it destroy any form of metal.

I seriously doused my oil pan in that chit...
