IN the specs you listed for the amp you ordered, it IS bridgeable and has a built in crossover unit. A crossover divides the signal frequencies. The amp you ordered has variable frequency crossovers for "high pass" and "low pass". In a nut shell, you can adjust how the frequencies are divided. Since this amp is going to be used on a sub... you want to cut out all of the high and mid frequencies in the signal, so that only the lower frequencies are amplified and sent to the sub. This makes for much better sound quality. You should be fine with this setup... but don't get all excited about a 8" sub... it won't blow your mind... but it will make some difference.
