how much u pay for insurance?

I currently live with both of my parents (50 - 50 split custody). The car is in my mom's name because I'm only 17, and therefore I can't "technically" own it. I am the primary driver on the insurance, however. And yes, I pay it.

Now here's the real question: when I turn 18, will it be cheaper on insurance for my mom to keep the car in her name, or switch it to my own? Or will it make no difference?

get a quote from your agent/insurance company.. or better yet, get one from a few different companies and compare

ive pretty much been working my a** off and will continue to work my a** off till the end of winter when I will then buy a crazy low mileage ttz. im going to be looking for a ttz with around 50,000miles at the most. oh and just to add i am a high school student too like i didn't drop out or anything.

cleaning jobs pay $8 an hour, maybe slightly more in a downtown area. if i could make $60 an hour dusting, id drop my top 30 mba program im in now and start cleaning immediately.

If its under the table you can make a good $15-$20 an hour. But thats for 7 hours of work (a whole house; they'll pay you $100-$140 depending on size of house) you can't just clean someones house/office for an hour and expect to make that. It's for your mom though so whatever. Wish my mom had an office to clean..

well i make 60$ flat rate but i finish it in an hour so its pretty much 60$ an hr. i think my mom gets a check from them for like 600 a month so she gives me 240 of it and she keeps the rest.

your damn right too, i cleaned with my girlfriend and her mum, a whole f***ing 4 bed house, garage, and exterior was for about $600 that was 3 people cleaning for about 3 days. break that down 6 hour days thats 18 hours in 3 days so thats 200 a day for 3 people 6 hours. thats 11 an hour. dont try and bs the nico club, you will get flamed and you will get pwnd

ok ok i can give him a break for taking the right track and making money, and i can give him a break for staying in school. and definitely give a break for that fack he wants a ttz. z cars are the s*** but im sticking to my s14. but for future ref flat rate is not hourly its flat, you twist your ankle fall on a chair and rack your nuts ending up on the ground for an hour and a half in your own puke then get back up an slowly clean back up taking a total of 9 due to black outs from the pain your still getting paid 60$ but now its only 6.5 an hour. so first things first dont twist your ankle and secondly stay on the right path. to many ppl f s*** up, just ask any nico member im sure we all have a story or 3 or 17

Yeah, the more cars you have, the less you'll pay per car. I know people who have only payed like $85 a month for a Porsche because they have 3 other cars on the policy.

EDIT: and that's in the city (much more expensive).

Dude thats actually cheap, i don't know how i got it this cheap cause i'm 23 and don't have a perfect driving record but when i bought the car i was expecting it to be like 250+ per month, thats what my buddy with a forester XT (turbo) pays and he's 21 and his record looks about the same as mine.
