****WARNING****Beware of Venus AutoI bought a RB20DET front clip with a TOTALLY blown motor and Turbo.I spoke to Vicki and the other guy can't remember his name (robert)??? they said that they can't replace my motor, that they could sell me a Long block at half price. I bought it and they sent me another Blown motor.Knowing that they had originally sent me a blown motor. They had said that they "Compression Test ALL of their motors".I guess I just have bad luck, that they sent me not 1 but 2 motors that were Blown.

I have pics if anyone is interested to see.Not only was the 2nd cylinder blown out of round 0.68 ( that's a really big over bore if you don't know) The head was trashedThe Turbo was garbageAnd there was some mystery disk thingie in my 6th cylinder

Choose for yourself. You get what you pay for.

Call and ask them. http://www.venus-auto.com/

Sil240 had some bad luck with motors he got from there but he did get a refund. And still has 2 motors. Yes they need a rebuild but they were essentially free.

and i got my clip from venus and had no problems (other than some miscellaneous missing parts). my engine has been going VERY strong for nearly 3 years now. i know of several friends who have gotten engines from venus also and one who did have a bum engine but venus took care of him licktiy split.

WHAT??????I did not get ANY refund!!!!The only refund I got was the 2nd motor, because I refused it.I compression tested it while it was on the truck

Ok a 1st blown motor might be a mistake but a SECOND blown motor.....You know you didnt compression test the 1st motor, why the hell did you not compression test the 2nd motor.

I still paid for the 1st motor and I only have the 1st motor.

Stealth Z do you work for Venus or something???Just for your information if i did get 2 free motors, I really wouldn't be *****'n. It would be annoying but I spent $1200 for a blow RB and then another couple thousand to rebuild it.I am a very ungratefull person/

I got a clip from them since late 2002 to early 03, it came in decent looking.been driving my RB25 for almost 4 yrs. now. man I wish they had left the R33 type M fenders, lights, bumper, hood intach they ended up selling them as parts.

yea, over the years I herd good and bad thing about them, so I figured if you are getting a RB it's a gamble not just venus but other places too.

Sorry bro I was just pissed because I thought you were one of the guys that worked there.

Yeah I didn't clearly explain.I did get a refund on the 2nd Blown motor Venus Auto sent me.Only because I refused to accept it.But the initial $1200 for the 1st Blown motor Venus Auto sent me, I never got any kind of refund or anything.

I would never ever buy from them again, and I will repost my story every time Venus Auto is mentioned or thought about for buying a motor.Hey if your close enough to pick your motor, go ahead. You can always go right back if there's something wrong.I unfortunately didn't have that option being across the country.

You are right I do have bad luck for getting Focked 2 times by VENUS AUTO.
