I don't remember what the actual numeric figure was off the top of my head, but it ended up being invoice - $250 (yes, that's a minus... below invoice...) plus 4.9% APR financing.

Yeah, mine was right on invoice, MSRP was 17,500 and I got 3.9% (4 years).

I bought an 08 SL hatchback CVT with every option for $15600+TTL. $17200 out the door. Best price I could find by far. MSRP was $19600 if I remember correctly.

Man you got a hell of a good deal. I was trying to talk to the dealer into giving me a fully loaded SL for the $17K I could do, but they said the Versa has pretty decent demand around some of the larger urban midwest cities, so I wasn't able to.

'08 SL CVT, Convenience package, Splash guards, Aluminum kick plates

Just under $16,000 out the door. Unfortuntely I did have to wait 4 days for them to get it in for me.

I ended up adding tint $200, rear bumper protector $25, and a vinyl nose mask $85 (mainly for road trips).

I'm loving the V, but still waiting for the engine to break in and give me that great gas mileage. Less than 1k on the odometer so far.

Sad part is, shortly after I bought our Versa in late November 07, the dealers offered base model S hatches W/Cruise Control for even a lower price!

That's exactly what I got, except I paid $12,800+tax, etc. You got a great deal.

$17.5K for an SL with ABS, Convenience and all the floor mats, with 1.9% financing.

Not great, but not terrible. I'm in one of those high-demand midwest cities. They sold three Versas in the 2 hours I was at the dealership.

Word. I would have loved to score a deal like some other have: fully loaded SL w/ moonroof and whatnot, but the best I could have done even with VIP pricing would have been around $18.1-18.3K OTD.

I'm happy with the options I got. I would have liked SAT radio (just to get the ipod interface) but that's about it.

Sunroofs just eat too much headroom most of the time...although headroom is definitely not a problem in these cars.

Slightly off topic, but:

I see quite a variety of prices here. A few hints I was given before buying mine:

1. Look up the invoice price before you shop. kbb.com can help with this. If you know how much the dealer paid, you can negotiate easier.

2. Wait for a rebate. You should be able to get at least a $500 rebate, often more.

3. Get a quote from a car buying service if possible. Several places have buying services. I didn't use one, but I used a quote from one, which helped me get the price I wanted.

4. Don't be afraid to walk if you don't get the deal you want. There are a lot of dealerships out there, one should give you the deal you want. Dealers know that 75% of the time if you walk off the lot you won't come back, so when you walk, they often work harder to make a deal.

Anyway, sorry for the OT, but it could be helpful for someone.

My price could have been 16,500 due to a $1000 cash back, but I chose 1.9% instead, as it worked out better with the loan term I wanted.

When you guys say out the door, it means all tax and plates etc included? Then under $16,000 is really a good deal.

Mine is SL Convenience Package without ABS, splash guards, kick plate ~16,600 without financing ($1,000 cash back then). I think we are not experienced in negotiating, hope to be more sophisticated next time.

By the way, do you think wheel locks are necessary? Already got the rear bumper protector online from Leeparts.

Mine came with wheel locks. I've never had rims stolen, but I've also always had wheel locks, so I really don't know. It seems that a motivated thief would have a key for the common locks, but every little bit helps, if only for the peace of mind factor.

As for my price, they had a $1,500 cash back sale at the time, and I'd brought in a quote $200 over invoice. They had to trade for my car, and the one they got happend to already have the kick plates, wheel locks, splash guards and mats in it, so they threw those in for free.

If I hadn't had my wife with me the deal likely wouldn't have been quite as good. She encourages me to negotiate better.

Depends on the state. Some states don't include taxes, registration, etc with the vehicle price. In a case where the buyer is on their own for TTL, out the door simply means the price of the car and any and all dealer applied fees (such as the documentation and delivery fees).

Befor the end of last month when they still had the 1000 rebate I was able to buy mine for 11,995 +++. I got it from woodfield nissan in Hoffman Estates, IL. They did make me buy the Vin Etch to get that deal for $295 but it is still a better price than anybody elce offered me. They also put stupid money in my Audi that I traded about $2,000-$2,500 more than it was really worth.

ohh yea the MSRP was about $15,650

I got my Sapphire Blue SL hatch for 18,XXX with tax/tag/title at Heritage Nissan in Rome. They were very easy to deal with and actually traded to get me the exact Versa I wanted, Sapphire Blue, CVT, ABS, Convenience Pkg. Always get what you want, and ask the dealer to get it for you. If they want the sell they will work to get you what you want. They got me my car, and they got the check. Nice experience.

My 2008 S with options package came out to just under $18,500 CAD, with 0.9% financing over 60 months (plus the nice 100 day before first payment offer).
