RB20DETS WERE IN LIKE 5 OR 6 DIFFERENT CARS RANGING FOR OVER 12 YEARS, THEY ARE COMMON PLACE, BUT RB25 HAD 4 CARS THAT I KNOW THEY WERE IN AND HAVE LASTED ABOUT 10 YEARS. THERE ARE ALOT OF RB25S BUT ALOT OF THEM ARE STILL RUNNING IN CARS.

Simple, because of demand...there is a very high demand for SR's right now and up until recently there wasn't as high a demand for RB's. That's why the price on RB's is now going up. Those engines are NOT costing the importers much to buy out of japanese junkyards.

Yeah, you can use the skyline crossmember into the 240.

And...its a lot more work than you think. Even if you work 3-4 hours a day, expect 2-3 weeks of working time. We have been working on this swap for about 2 weeks and just about got all the mechanical stuff ready...now we got to do the wiring.

The first time is always harder than any other, you gotta familiarize yourself with the parts.

NOPE THEY ARE NOT ON ANY FORUM, THEY ARE ALL BY WORD OF MOUTH.

I'D BUY FROM THEM AGAIN, I HAD ISSUES WITH MY ENGINE AND THEY WERE QUICK TO RESOLVE THEM. THE ISSUES I HAD WAS A SPUN BEARING WHICH THEY SENT OUT A LONGBLOCK TO REPLACE IT WITH. THEY ARE GREAT PEOPLE AND VICKI IS VERY HELPFUL. THERE PRICES ARE SOME OF THE BEST AND THEY HAVE FAST SERVICE/DELIVERY TIMES.

I might go to japan on a business trip. And i was thinking about just picking up a rb25 from a junkyard since im up there. Might save a couple thousand dollars. I was wondering though is it legal to do that? Do I need a permit or permission to transport stuff from over there to the us?

I'm using a PT-67 turbo on my car. It dynoed at 585rwhp on race gas but it still has to be broken in and my hks vps and FC-datalogit still need used on my car. It also is leaking oil which should be fixed soon. For some reason they want me to put a cat on the car to tune it when I take it back. I guess it might be becuz its easier to tune?

Lol, perhaps they want the cat on because it was stinking up their shop and everybody was getting headaches and their eyes were tearing up cause of the fumes during those 4th gear WOT pulls?

Btw, what turbo manifold are you using? Also, was that 585 on the stock longblock. I can wait for your post if need be for the details.

D-UNIT, you know what I meant. :rolleyes

I have a custom turbo manifold made for my car. Also this motor isn't stock, it's built up some. I'll post details bout my car when I get my car dynoed tuned again.
