<raises hand>

I cracked a #3 crank bearing in my first KA-T motor. Second motor was assembled incorrectly, and never built sufficient compression.

Third time's the charm, this one's bulletproof and hauls balls.

SSAC wastegate + 8psi Tial spring but it didn't matter because it still creeped to 20+psi anyway. Bent my rod #3...put in a authentic Tial wastegate and I had a lot of fun boosting that same motor. Held at 8.6psi PERFECTLY.

1st motor 25+psi blew after 1.1 miles ringlands all 4 pistons, ringlands exploded!!! boost controller put in the opposite direction and had no self control when I starte to boost, I just heard the turbo spooling and spooling and then there was an insane smoke screen on freakin mobil 1 in rear view!

2nd headgasket cause I am a dummBASS! Dont mess with ic lines and start motor with out checking your radiator hoses. And when u realize that your temp gauge dont work it was already 2 late!!!! 130 miles on that 1, but a simple fix!

1st motor 162k miles blew on the dyno. I was TRYING to blow it up. It took a 250 HP shot of nitrous to do it. Blew the ring lands out of it.

2nd motor. Built like no other. Pushing up to 50 psi on it. Making about 1000 crank HP. lasted 3000 miles including many trips to the track. Cracked two cylinder walls. Split from top to bottom.

Original motor over 160k miles wiped out rod bearing. 2nd motor was bought stock rebuild and cracked ring lands number 2 and 4. 2nd motor rebuilt by me with AMS basic kit and ARP hardware. So engine is running fine but keep loosing nuts and bolts on downpipe, wastegate and turbo.

First motor, tossed the #3 rod through the block. High mileage motor and I relate the problem to possible lubrication issue.

I had rod knock after about 1000 miles. But I was stupid, had 370cc injectors, SAFC, and a 57 trim at 10PSI. It leaned out too much. But oh, well. Now I'm working on my second KAT with 100K on it. Going with a 50 trim, ecu tune and 550cc injectors.

I had rod knock on my first motor. i kept driving and ended up throwing a rod. I had a ghetto setup with a safc at 10 psi.

1st motor I blew the head gasket and packed ice in the engine bay so I could drive home. I already had a new motor so it didnt matter if it went out 100 percent. Second motor I junked for a dual cam which is now fully built and will be boosting at 18 lbs when I get my ECU in.

Yes, this was the motor I dynoed to 718 whp but I ran 158.5 mph in (equals around 840 whp)

I made too much power for the block and cracked cylinder walls. See the 500 whp thread for more info

I will soon, it has just been a few interesting weeks. I'm going to replace my blown waterpump in a couple days. Since I was smelling burnt coolant, I orriginally suspected the coolant getting on the belts and getting ALL over the engine bay, but I also am going to compression test my car while I'm at the WP. Ugh, i helped remove the head on my other friend's KAe in 20 degree weather, and I am NOT looking foward to mine, lol.

blowing a headgasket doesnt count as blowing your motor right? If so Then I am on number 3, I dont think a blown hg is a blown motor. In my case it was $105 bucks to get back to where I was.(well so far) I should be back in the running tomarrow!

1st motor which was in my first 240sx spun a rod bearing. 2nd motor from junk yard had heating issues. Have never seen a motor get so hot, even melted the distributor cap and those can take some heat. 3rd motor also from junk yard another spun bearing. 4th motor which was 3rd motor had rebuilt. Was put together wrong. I had rod knock over a 1 year, yes you heard right 1 year lol we thought it was a cracked piston because the oil pressure would shoot right up at when you turned on the car and correct me if im wrong but wouldnt it take forever to build up oil pressure if it were a spun bearing??? Well anyhow when we took apart the motor we saw that the #4 rod had no bearing on it. WTF????? Yeah i drove it like that for over a yr and nothing ever happend. Weirdest thing I HAVE EVER SEEN!!! Now on my 5th motor which is being rebuilt the RIGHT WAY. Getting ready for boost cant wait.

Not a KA-t, drove 110 miles, crank seal failed because of an ARP crank pulley. Ran it out of oil, and threw #3 rod. This one is a better bet. I'll let you know when I blow this one.
