Million Mile Joe has a 1990 Honda Accord with 938,000 miles on it! :badger

http://www.thecarconnection.com/news/10 ... nda-accord (Check out the video at the end of the article)

The Frontier has 77,065. This is the only one I really keep up with. The Cube has <30K but other than that, I couldn't tell you what the rest of the fleet has on the odometer.

How many miles does your daily have?

I would laugh if he made it to 999,999 miles and it died.

Titan reached 110,000 miles a few weeks ago.
CRX is at about 190,000 miles.
My newly acquired Camry has about 185,000 miles.

Not many. Others have been driving my cars while I've been out of town, so I'm going to guess the Cadillac has 135k and the Saab has 120k.

The Saab has averaged under 6,000 miles a year, double that for the Seville.

The Seville has aged better, but its a much more modern car. The Saab's design dates back to the late 70s.

One thing I like about high-mileage used cars, like Town Cars and such, is that you know they had to be maintained to get there.

...because most of our cars only have 5-digit odometers, and quit working about 20 years ago. :)

Our '94 Q45t has 168k miles
Our '05 Pathfinder has around 168-170k miles
My '93 240sx has 173k miles

All running smoothly!
Except the Q45 is starting to feel a bit sluggish.

The Miata hit 70k a week and a half ago. I haven't had a car with this low mileage in a long time.

Feels weird man.

My '94 Suburban with the original 350 engine and transmission has about 228,000. It still runs very nicely. I want to see it reach 250,000

My LS has about 64k on it. Might be off a thousand ish.
As remarkable as Joe’s achievement is, it really highlights the fact that manufacturers publish recommended maintenance schedules for a reason; stick to them, and you may have a million mile car in your own garage.
Oh what a crock of s***. It's the maintenance done long after warranty/scheduled maintenance expires that makes the difference. And scheduled maintenance covers, what, 10% of the million miles? How on earth can they give credit to it for the whole million? It's what you do to the car in the other 90% of the million miles that makes it. Stuff doesn't just never break again after the prescribed maintenance schedule ends.
