My Integra has about 275k miles. Burns a little oil, but 300k miles is in my sights. I think I'll let her retire after that...

I must also mention my VW Vanagon which is currently parked in my parent's basement with about 375-380k miles. The odometer stopped at 325k miles. Rebuilt engine and replaced clutch at 260k miles and that's it.

My 95 S14 has 265K ish on the body, 115K ish on the engine, and roughly 125K ish on the trans. I still have the original engine and trans that came with the car sitting in a shed and they have 240K on them before the slushbox lost reverse and I swapped them out for the five speed swap.

My work van had 80K on it when I started in October, now it is getting ready to roll over to 107K.

I'm right around 100,200 on my A/C tonight. Will be right around 100,250 by the time tonight's over, though.

The Corolla has about 40,000 on it.

Besides their generally being more affordable, and less complex?

I think it really depends on the car. There are some older cars that suck too.
I don't see many people drooling over a Chevy Citation, or a Chrysler K car or a Ford Granada.

Not necessarily true, there are quite a few late 80's/early 90's domestic cars that didn't live very long due to poor design.
