Hey there.

I'm looking for an idea of what kind of gas mileage I should be getting with my KA24E Engine.

Please let me know on average how far can you go?

Thanks

Depends on the type of driving. On the freeway, I can usually get around 350 miles to a tank, but in the city that number is a lot less, around 230-250.

I would say 300 is a good average for city and highway mixed.

Normally I'm just short of 300 miles to the tank, but when I dont waste gas (like I do every single time I drive... haha), I can get upwards of 350. Never seen 400 though, you guys are lucky!

280-400 usually, but I've never used more than 14 of the 17 gallons.

don't forget that in colder regions, mileage is gonna suck more because the car runs a little rich until the car warms up (i think that's how it works)

i get 300 mpt

Thanks for the replies

It seems I'm getting around 350KMS per tank and the tank is 50L I believe. No idea what the conversion to Miles that would be. Seems rather crappy either way. Much smaller engine but I used to get 450 on a 40L tank in my little Pulsar.

I think I have some fuel system or 02 sensor problem but not sure.

Anywho..thanks!!

I'm getting about 200-250 on a tank I think. That seems really bad compared to my GA16 powered 200sx(aka 2 door sentra). But according to you guys that isn't so bad for an SR on stock boost??

What happens when I turn the boost up? Will it be a whole lot less?

I know my tendency to show off the speed cut removal switch on my car doesn't help me get good gas mileage. But driving at 120-130mph is just too much fun.

300-400 miles but 400 is really pushing it, even on the freeway.

driving home from Cali to Oregon i got 38mpg. I drove down my b13 to pick up my s13. Coming home only drove 50mph, due to bald tires, waiting for it to blow at anytime...fortunately didn't happen. The b13 got 57mpg. Amazing how adding a little more wind drag drastically changes gas mileage. Now driving 60 to work i average about 27. =)

250 miles on about 12.5 gallons city driving usaully thru traffic, could easily be 300+ if i shifted under 3000rpms all the time, i believe 91' tank holds 15.9 gallons (atleast i think that is wut it says in the manual)

We have 15 and 7/8 gallon tanks.

I get about 225 on my SOHC, and I never shift above 4k. =\
