I honestly in america the probe got bigger first then the 240 came along years later. As far as popularity. How else do so many people know about the probe?

One time I took 2 friends to an awards breakfast for school in my 1st 240(cpe) and when we went to leave they went to a celica and were trying to open the doors when I walked up and asked them what they were doing. Apparently to them they look alike and couple that with the fact that they were both red, they assumed it was my car, lol.

In other news: I don't really see the 180sx/probe thing, I'm suprised that people get so many comments, I mean the hatches are MORE common than probes here though, they're everywhere, so that might be why.

The 3rd gen Prelude/S13 coupe connection is a good one though, never thought about it, but they look VERY similar. No real problem with that, they're both very handsome cars, and both originally intended for the same target market in JPN too, "date cars".

i wouldve said a 94 and when i got the ticket goto court and tell em that u were driving a 240 not a prelude and get the ticket thrown out

One time I got my ticket thrown out because the cop accidentally put the date of the incident as my DOB, so I made a huge deal about me being able to travel through time somehow, get my license, figure out to drive a car, and then get stopped for it. It was hilarious, the judge yelled at me to stop and said I was disrespecting him. He threw it out though.
