Not true, there are plenty of female 240/nissan enthusiasts right here on NICO. I like to go to every meet/show possible but crosscountry aint possible for me, have fun

Good to know a bunch of people are coming out of the wood work for this year's Dam Meet. I am really looking forward to it turning out just as good as last year if not better.

Remember guys, the earlier you get there, the better. They won't rent the pavilions on Labor Day weekend so it is first come, first serve. I will be out there around 10:30 AM. I am sure that Mike from Tophat will be out soon after that to setup his stuff as well as bring food.

Bring a cooler of drinks that was iced the night before if you can. Non-alchoholic of course since the park doesn't allow it.

I will have an SCCA Atlanta hat on that day if anyone wants to say hi.

Ambi- That's funny, I hate silver.

Yo camel any other forums posting up about this event. Last years post had like 9+pages. We just got started on our 2nd.

Also why can't you make it before 10:30? Those pavilions will be gone by 9:30 for sure.

I can make it by 9.30 if needed but it would be nice to have some dam company instead of sitting there by myself reserving a pavilion for your a55.

6 other message boards are talking about this chit dude. this year should be fun.

Cooler with a 12 pack of softdrinks or two would be good. Tophat is providing the food.

Sorry to hear you are planning on paining your vehicle. How do you plan to inflict said pain? And if you are talking about my signature, the S14 is "Super Black".

Relax bro... Ill question anything. Your lack of information when the question was brought to you earlier in the post brought me to question you. All you said was that other forums were helping with this. Why wouldnt you have posted it than.

Dont get defensive over something silly...

Ok, so as the guy that put this together, I thought that the weather had something to do with the lack of attendance this year. I am going to hazard a guess at about 30 to 35 cars showed up throughout the day and 50 or so people. There were some uncommon cars that showed up as well, the full blown true JDM S14 that was vin'ed out of washington state and the s14 rb26dett swapped car that was very clean. Only problem that we had was the rb26dett driver (didn't catch his name) was the ONLY fool this year that spun his tires, other than that he was a nice guy. Everyone else knew better or acted their age or better. There were alot of rattle traps and a lot of stockers there as well. One of the highlights of the day was seeing Russ and Chad show from the 240s_over_Atlanta crew with a trailered Sil-80 that was completly sick looking (in a good way). I have to say, that was the highlight of the cars for me. As well as the Titan it was being pulled behind. The Titan had some massive black 5 spokes on it with Stoptech big brakes. Very cool. Chet and Justin had slept in my den the night before. I woke their sorry a5535 up around 6:30 AM when I was putting on coffee and making breakfast. We were all out by 7:20 washing the cars and getting ready for the day. Torrey (ezcheese from NICO) showed up about 9:00. We were at the dam at 9:40 to make sure we had a pavilion for the day. Mike Sims from Tophat Performance showed up soon after that with a couple of folks from his shop to cook for us and provide us with information on his shop and all of their many services (his shop sponsored the meet this year). The rest of the day went the same as last year, people came and went most of the day. I had a good time and others had a good time, but if you were out there last year, you know it wasn't the same. Thanks to all for coming out and making it what it was, a dam good day.
