Now that is nice. Its ideal to try to keep your arms straight. When slammed handling is way off.

I recently installed stance gr+pros, spl tension rods, and poly bushings and I have to admit after driving around for a week I moved it to full soft. This winter has just destroyed the roads around here, and with 8k front springs + pillowball tension rods you really take a beating.

c'mon another inch would be perfect!

i have about a pinky finger of wheel gap in the rear just so my exhaust doesn't scrape as bad on this speedbump at my apartment complex...and i still wanna go lower!

That was before I maxed the fronts out. It doesn't look that low with no aero on.

you're right it looks good, but it will look better if it were a tad lower lol

my car's not slammed and i think it looks good and low enough but it would look awesome if it was on the ground

Proper suspension geometry is underrated.

I'm low, but not slammed by anyone's standards. Proper corner balance is responsible for the slightly higher sitting rear. Daily drive on 10/8 coilovers. Pictures were taken today by a couple different local guys.

Some people want to be slammed and have their cars handle terribly. That's cool too, everyone has a different style.

i heard it's better to have the rear end higher than the front in a "raked" stance for better handling?

My car's kinda raked and i really don't know what the handling advantages/disadvantages would be.

Motorsport Ranch in Cresson. About 20 minutes south of Fort Worth.

17x9 +22, 245/45/17 all around, 5mm spacer in front sadly to clear the coilover. Alignment settings are stock right now, proper alignment coming VERY soon. I know how much some extra camber alone would help me greatly.

I have megans and have them about 16-17 clicks from full soft. My exhaust is less than an inch off the ground, and my car is unreasonably low. I'm sure it would handle/drift better if i raised it and actually had some suspension travel, I'm aware of that. I drive this car for lookin cool and havin fun in, i'm not tryin to break records goin to work or traveling to a friend's house. For what I use the car for mine drives/drifts fine at its current ride height.

question...

wouldnt dampening/preload determine suspension travel? and in this case isnt it reffered to as stroke(not engine stroke strut stroke)?

i drift my car fully slammed and on full stiff, ive experimented with raising it as well as changing the dampening around, everything is butter and predictible on full stiff and fully slammed and transitions fine, no rubbing and MINIMAL full lock.....lock hahaha

not slammed by any measure, but in ny slammed is a relative term.

had her pretty low when i first put my coils in

how she sits now

on 10/8 coils preloaded to the max(because i didn't really know anything about coilovers when i put them in years ago)

but yeah sometimes i just bottom out because of the bow of the road, thats how bad ny roads are...

From ground to the fender it measures 24-1/2"

If I go any lower id get stuck in my own driveway ( Which is the worst design I have ever seen)
