It all depends on how much time/money you're willing to spend. Another 100 lbs is very reachable.

What did you strip off the car to get it down to 2605lbs? I took off the back seat, passenger seat, spare tire & jack, and carpet, but my s13 still weighed in at 1700lbs.

^ 2700lbs?

Anyone remember the website where they weighed everything they stripped out of an S13? I forget how much the car weighed afterwards.

I say 2200 lbs.

300 lbs by removing stock parts

possibly another 100 lbs by replacing doors, hood, trunk, side mirror, fenders to carbon fiber

lighter wheels, flywheel, drive shaft can give you another.... about 50 lbs diet?

are these numbers u guys are coming up w/ the actual weight of ur 240 (i.e. you brought it somewhere and had it weighed)? or are you guys just taking the stock website curb weight & subtracting stuff?

Reason I bring this up is because, for example, the 240 vert is listed as 2800lbs, I weighed in @ just over 3100 stock. The 2800lbs is dry weight (no gas, no fluids, etc). So I was curious to see what everyone's coupes & hatches weigh.

i weighed my '89 hatch not long ago. she broke the scale at 2840. thats with a 1/4 tank, everything from the b pillars back gutted(except for the top part of the back seat and speaker racks), kae-t, about 150lbs. worth of system in the back, and some quarts of oil.

^ dude, pull the subs out before you weigh her...

Thats the link I was trying to remember Cory

poor_S13, I dont know what it is about that car, but it really intrigues me. Its just built so perfectly which no shortcuts (or expense spared). And the white with gold trim/accents is a rare look IMO.

racing w/ a full sound system, HELLLL YEEAAAA; that's what I'm talking about brother!!!

Kind of sad though that your car w/ full sound system & turbo weighs significantly less than my vert stock, hahaha.

yeah, but i bet ur not thinking of my car when ur ripping 100mph+ with the top down!! anyways, i like to think that the heavy box just aft the shock towers helps me squat the suspension prior to launch.
