haha according to the map you shouldn't head north of Calgary in Alberta! Just ignore that our capital city is up there, they're still working on paving, not to mention the oil sands. you can visit the beautiful oil sands of Alberta.
Honestly If you want to see Canada as the beautiful country it is come west. First of all out east they're French

second of all no one can understand what someone from Newfoundland is saying, they have theyre own language.
Stay out of Saskatchewan too...you can see north to south, not one hill in the entire province...pretty weak.
Come through Alberta, you can get your brief and boring prairie fix. But then you can head into the famous Rocky Mountains(you guys go those too?) Waterton National Park is in southern Alberta, you can dip into BC and visit Fernie or just drive through the forests and mountains. Head through Calgary, which is Alberta's largest city. Drunhellar is also cool, they have a really good dinosaur museum- the Royal tyrrell museum. Head a little more north and get into Banff Id honestly recommend seeing the very north of Alberta, its beautiful near the Yukon and NWT, and yes...there is pavement and cities too!
Ive lived in southern Alberta all my life and Ive been across the entire province(and BC/Sask).
