Got true duals, she sounds really nice and deep, she is too loud, but i love it, and everyone complimented me about it. Maybe ill put in some cheap resonators after if it gets annoying
Is it two inch pipe from cat back...thinking of doing that as well....just want to get it right

I think it might look better if you tuck them inside more. Seems like they are too far out which makes them look too big. I have 3.5" tips, loud exhaust, lots of people hate it which makes me like it more bu that's just me. If the car gets too loud with what you have just add the magnaflow muffler/x pipe to quiet it down and keep the free flow. Lastly post a sound clip and maybe some better pictures.

Wow.... I think you just ruined your M. You turned a luxury car into a Civic. I think you need to add some resonators. Two thumbs down on the sound. :nono:

The first clip doesn't sound bad kinda hard to get the true sound with cameras compared to in person I'm sure. Id say let it break in and post some more. So did you get 2.5" or something else?

CPJ LB wrote:+1...need better pix to get a good look at the positioning, size, and overall look of the exhaust. The first video sounded good -- I could really hear the intake sound... hey, I appreciate your 'modding' efforts...the main thing is "as long as YOU like it" :bigthumb:

regarding getting the Megan Mid pipe or removing the resonators...removing the resonators will increase your exhaust sound, possibly add drone in your cabin -- I'm thinking the magna flows are a 'straight thru' exhaust.???? The megan mid will increase the flow and still give you resonators (larger diameter piping = 2.5") are you running 2.5" from your magna flows to the stock midpipes back??
In the pic you show those are not too big, they are awesome.

xxxalpinexxx80 wrote:So i installed the magnaflow14807 on my m35. I honestly think they look nice, but they're a hair too big. I dont want to get diff mufflers and throw that money down the drain. Give me your honest feed back on what you think? I have a short ram intake installed as well. It's deff louder than the stock mufflers, and of course the video i mad is not the best. Im debating now whether to get the megan midpipe or save a lot of money and take the resonators off. What do you think?

Sorry, not my taste. Makes the car look weak and the sound of a 6 is weak, they never sound like a big 8. Prefer single duals with fat pipes. I would have left it stock. My OP. If you like them keep them. Loud does not mean performance.
