You don't need a different changer. I got an adapter that plugs into the input for the factory changer at the back of the head unit. I ordered it from http://www.logjamelectronics.com/soundauxniss.html .

I listen to AM bishes.

Can't beat Rush...

Seriously though. My HU is stock. Only thin i've changed is tha tfront speakers. I would change the back 6x9s, but the way the mounts are an aftermarket speaker won't mount to all the holes. I'll get around to making a mount for them one of these days.

Oh yeah, I've got a Pioneer two channel amp sitting around still. I'll probably use that

I c*** my head to one side, lift one eyebrow and one ear, just like Nipper.

As for the player, I just got one of these cheapieshttp://walmart.scosche-cars.co...D1=24and listen to the glorious racket off an SD card.

It's a damned car. It's more wind and road noise than anything else, and I don't really want to lose all sense of what the car's up to while I'm rocking out. Dude.

Used to listen to my Sirius radio and Ipod, but since I have my new Alpine unit in, I can only listen to CDs until I get my Fm Transmitter and cable for the Ipod. =\

I may just sell it. F' it lol.

Just installed it today, hardly used haha.

Usually an Mp3 cd since I don't like to change discs that often (and I'm attempting to prevent further damage to my collection from loading them into the roller loading mechanisms most auto cd players utilize), I also have a 6disc changer (trunk mounted), and XM radio, but Xm radio gets much more airtime than the FM stations. I occationally have trips where the AM radio is actually more entertaining. Audio quality is a primary concern for me depending on the source, in most situations it seems that audio is best quality from regular cd's than all of my other sources (highest signal to noise ratio).

"I think I broke the window again." -- some movie.

Normally, its a toss up for me... While I prefer FM radio or iPod, my current stereo setup and the frequency of college road trips mean I simply play a whole lot of CD's.
