OEM tape deck FTW.

In a previous vehicle of mine I got my stereo stolen literally 3 days after installing it, so when I bought a replacement I left the 8-track(yes my firebird had an 8-track) in its original spot and installed the replacement cd player in the glove box where it didn't get touched until I sold it.

Where I live there are alot of "treasure Hunters" people who will cut convertible tops up to get inside, break windows to steal a cheapo stereo, or try and get one of the crooked towing companies to "tow" your car a block or two away to strip it. I tend not to have expensive looking things in my cheapo s13.

As loudly as I can without distortion. I love to see my sideview and rearview mirrors shake.

As I can't afford a subwoofer, I do the following;

First, find the lowest honda with the loudest boom.

Second, pull up next to him and find out what radio station he is listening to and match mine with his.

Finally, I stay next to him the rest of the evening..........

Jonsey..

I followed a 4X4 one night, I hate counytry music...

Headphone ticket? not in NH, at least. But no I do have two speakers and a cd player. Was definitely meant to be sarcastic though, I rarely listen to music in the car, lots of talk radio though.

USB Key, always fun...

I don't know if anyone else has checked out that cheap VR3 Audio system but it is a great buy for your car if you can fit it...
