12rogue, that doesn't look normal at all.
Those aren't the placements we have authorized. The ones to the immediate R of the forum discussions, are legit (Mazda and that looney b**** from Progressive). The stuff on the far right is NOT ours.
Now is as good a time as any to update you guys on some of the stuff we're working on. As you all know, this layout / design has been with us for YEARS, and it's worked well. However, it's time to make it more lean, mean, fast, and responsive (which means it will load the same on a tablet, a phone, an iPad, a laptop, or a PC, in whatever browser you choose.
With that said, it's been about an 8-month project (it's a big site). During the redesign, only the CRITICAL functions as far as revisions and updates are being done (no sense polishing something we're about to do away with, right?)
So, bear with us. No one is selling your personal information (realistically, you guys don't have to enter anything personal to join here anyway
). I will get with our ad networks and have a word with them about any ads that make noise, or anything else that's annoying - those gotta go.
Almost forgot to mention - LOG IN when you surf the forums. There are even less ads for logged in users.
Thanks for the heads up - I'm gonna use a couple of your screen shots - ALSO, update your stuff! Like Bex said above, if your browser is full of malware and crap from your last pr0n surfing session, let's not lay blame where it's not warranted.
