well you could cut the wire on your on trans for the 5 gear or you could get an ecu reflash.

step 1: buy lots of tennis balls, strike anywhere matches, gasoline.

step 2: slice tennis balls and stuff with matches.

step 3: soak balls in gasoline.

step 4: throw balls really hard at engine until it explodes.

same end result and you don't have to fear for your life.

Preheat oven to 375°F.

2 1/3 cups all purpose flour1 teaspoon baking soda1 teaspoon salt2 sticks (1 cup) butter3/4 cup granulated sugar3/4 cup brown sugar4 tablespoons Kahlua Vanilla Rum1/2 teaspoon vanilla bean paste (optional)3 small or 2 large eggs2 cups chocolate chips or chunks1 1/4 cup walnuts, pecans or Macadamia nuts, chopped1/2 cup raisins, Craisins or dried cherries, chopped

Remove butter and eggs from refrigerator about 20 minutes before baking. Soak raisins, Craisins or dried cherries (or a combination of these) in 4 tablespoons of Kahlua Rum for 1 hour before using. After dried fruit have soaked up the rum, measure two tablespoons of rum/raisin liquid and reserve to add to cookie dough.

Beat together butter and the two kinds of sugar until creamy. Add one egg at a time, beating after each one is added. Stir in 2 tablespoons of vanilla rum and the bean paste.

Sift together flour, baking soda and salt. Gradually pour flour mixture into the mixer bowl while mixing at the lowest speed. Mix only until combined; do not over-mix or the cookies will be tough.

Using a wooden spoon, stir in chocolate chips, chopped nuts and dried raisins/fruit.

then put thems in the ovens and cook untill your house burns down and you learn to search.

Not true for SRs.

I borrowed a friends auto ECU last year when I went to BIR. I was hoping I wouldnt have to bounce off the speed limiter at the end of the long straight every lap.

I was sadly mistaken.

Get yourself an HKS speed limit defencer. I like Papi's idea better though.

if everyone searched, would there still be a nico?

its not like i created a whole thread, figured a related question would be accepted in here. i was not asking how or where to remove the sensor, just if disabling the governor affected the rev. limiter.

and yeah.. i found that article while searching too, thanks.

Link is good, but it seems like you can't have working speedometer if you disable the governer.

i have yet to find a costless fix for the speed limiter. I cut wires i removed plugs, and it still worked . I guess the only simple fix is auto ecu.

my last coupe i removed the 2 middle sensors. nothing. clipped the green wire going to the ecu. nothing. My top speed limiter only didnt work when my HUD decided not to work. When my HUD was working, speedlimiter enabled again.

4th and 5th gear sensors are rev limiters.

Unplug your VSS and your speedo doesn't work but neither does your governor.

I never drove my KA that fast, there was no reason lol. The 120mph fuel cut on my SR was pretty annoying though. An enthalpy tune took care of that for me.
