I have a big date at the 1/4 mile track at the end of October with 2 local doctors and a mechanic here in Kentucky. The doctors have a C6 Z06 and a 2007 911 turbo and the mechanic has about $150K in a 89 930 slant nose with twin triple k turbos putting down over 500whp. They all road race at road Atlanta and will be at the drag track for the 1st time and they are over confident. I will be posting videos of each race.

I am putting JWT S4 cams, topspeed intake, and going 25psi on 110 race fuel for the big showdown. I am scheduled for the dyno the 1st weekend in October with the new setup. With them running street tires and me on wrinkle walls I should have a nice lead at the 60' mark. I have driven the Z06 and the 930 slant nose. I am very close to the z06 but the 930 will smoke me with my current setup. Hopefully I can close the HP gap a little and out drive him.

I will be racing against almost 1500 crank HP and over $300K in supercars collectively.

By the way, I voted beat the stock Z06 and the 911 and lose to the slant nose. That thing is sick.

I vote beat all three. I haven't followed your setup, but Ive got love for Nissan. I thing the 930 is the only one that will give you a run, but the fact that you have wrinkles tells me you will edge him out. I'm interested to see the breakdown of E.T.s, trap speeds, and 60 ft times.

My sig didn't post? I'm running a S13 red top with a built bottom end, 2871 .64 ar, JWT tune with 72lbs. injectors and a cobra maf. I made 345whp at 20psi on a dynojet. I'm going S4 cams (so I can install them myself), topspeed intake, and 25 psi on 110 for the track. I ran a 11.78@117 with MT drag radials and a 3.91 R&P at 20psi. I now have a 4.36 skyline vlsd and wrinkle walls and I'm shooting for 400+ whp on race fuel. Should put me in the 11.2-11.3 range with a good 60'. I had a 1.56 60' three weeks ago at the local 1/8th mile track and ran a 7.51@91. They won't touch that with street tires. They'll have to catch me on the big end.

Man Matt, you know how the drags go. I'm sure you've run into people that think "Oh, I've never dragged raced before, but I have a 500hp car, so it SHOULD be faster."

I see this all the time, and it usually results in lots of wheelspin and missed gears.

However, if these guys autoX then they probably don't even know they have any gear above 3rd Sounds like they might actually know how to drive, so who knows.

I voted that you'll win.

I say if you have nearly perfect runs you should be fine! With it being colder they will have even a tougher time keeping traction even after they get going......they will have bigger torque then you and when the track is cold and or not sticky that will work to your advantage.

You better hold true and post vids!

I think most of those guys will not be able to get traction and you'll have them beat. I met a Cobra GT500 with a claimed 800 whp at the track. He ran on drag radials and ran a 11.7. I thought with 800 whp, he'd run faster than that.

With your .64 turbo you should be vey good for drag racing since they pull hella fast in the mid range. If you put down the power then I say you could take them all but maybe the slant nose porsche those are very RARE cars and fast. Are you running a limited slip diff of some kind.

4.36 vlsd and 26x8.5x15 MT ET drags. The 930 slant nose is a REAL steel bodied 89 930. At 1 time in the early 90's it was 1 of 11 in the US and the only one east of the Mississipi. It was tuned by fransblaum racing in germany and sent back to the US. It is detuned for the street but is capable of 800-1000whp. I'll post a pick of it tonight. The only way I beat this guy is if he spins!

What kind of price did they get you on the greddy?
